It has it's limits. Eventually install an attic antenna and very happy I did. 10 times better reception. This would probably work for a storm outage which happens some times.

I’m not sure if it doesn’t get NBC because it’s a bad antenna or if it’s because NBC dials way down on their signal strength whenever there is something on worth watching like any march madness, or the Olympics.

I didn't want to get another DirecTV box, so I bought a Roku stick and this antenna to pull in local channels. It took a little work to find the best location for it, but it pulls in 58 channels from around the area! Totally happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

To be fair, we live deep in the woods and there was only one logical place to put the antenna in the master bedroom - and that spot was not oriented in the same direction as the one in the guest room. Unfortunately just had to return it.
