Posted .Hi MarkC, we are sad to hear you didn't have a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50. It is a far superior antenna to rabbit ears, so this makes us think if you are placing the antenna on the wall, some building materials (like metal, stucco and brick) can cause interference with the antenna. Try placing the antenna in a window, up in the corner, and not in front of a window screen, and scan you TV for channels again. not what I expected

I also recently "cut the cord" and was looking for something that would provide me local channels. This product boasted 60 mile range of TV Channels, and ultimately I received just 7 channels. One of which was Channel 2, an NBC station; and six additional channels --- ALL of which had data bleed! (I.e. various pixelation streaks on the screen!) This was not what I spent $50+ for and returned the product to the store for a full refund! Very Disappointed! P.S. I rated this product as "Poor" - One star, but that is only because the web site needed input! I would not even rate this product one star!

I was skeptical that the installation and the channel options would be as described by the product. It exceeded my expectations with the installation and channel options. My mother is free to get rid of her monthly cable subscription because of this product and save hundred's of dollars each month.

However this was able to pull in digital stations that I was not expecting to see found. It's easy to use, pulling power from the TV USB port and has a good length cable to optimize placement.

Once it was set up, it picks up a lot of channels in my area. It hasn’t once displayed a snowy or distorted image. Channels come through crystal clear!

It picks up more channels than we expected with all the great old sitcoms that are so much more entertaining than the new shows. It also gets all the PBS channels for learning new things. Win win

The tower is 13 miles away. I get good reception on local PBS channels only. The others have so much feedback and pixilated video, that it just is not good for me. I kept my internet connection and found an app with 1 CBS live channel. Will be returning after 3 weeks of problem solving via the fcc site. Most channels look green- good reception…. Not quite what’s happening at my home. At any rate good antenna for a few channels 2-3. Instructions were simple and easy to follow for set up.

There are many factors that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or heavy foliage in the area. We always recommend you place the antenna as high as possible, as trees and buildings can block some TV signals. Also, considering your shorter distance to the broadcast towers, you may want to scan for channels without the included amplifier if you have not already done so to see if that may help. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. If you would like more assistance on ways to improve your reception, or would like us to perform an analysis of your area to be sure you are receiving all the available channels, just give us a call at 877-825-5572.
