Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

Defintely picks up more channels than the $15 antenna I originally purchased. Still have occasional trouble picking up a signal so I don't feel comfortable permanently giving it a spot yet. But so far, it's better than cable.

This HDTV antenna works as advertised. The picture is bright and clear and better than that provided by cable tv as they compress the data. The antenna is easy to cancel behind the tv stand so not noticeable as the ok rabbit ears of yesteryear.

I purchased the Leaff50 because I wanted more channels than the Leaf 30 could provide. Unfortunately, more channels were available however the reception is a stronger on some of them. Honestly, I don't know if the 50 is worth the extra money.

This antenna is a great alternative to cable's new digital format equipment requirements. We are able to receive most of the local stations although one of the stations required some experimenting with the antenna location. If you are looking to break the cord from cable, this is an affordable alternative.

When I opened the box and saw this paper thin antenna, I though, "This thing isn't going to do anything" Well, I was wrong. Very, Very wrong. I am able to get over 50 channels! Great picture quality as well. not sure if i will ever go back to paid television ever again.

We put a T.V. in the upstairs of our house, and were looking for a decent indoor antenna to pick up the local stations (4,6,12,58) and maybe a few more. The picture clarity is excellent for the local stations. More than what i expected. If possible make sure you mount this antenna close to a window. Definitely helps.

The antenna works really well for all but one or two local stations that are not in its line of sight. I'm under a metal roof so you may get better results in a non-metal roof installation. For channels it finds, the picture is very clear HD quality.

When the weather was good, these worked alright. When the weather was not so good, or the sun was at a certain angle, the TV stations would pixelate. Where the antenna is placed is important but where your house is located and what can block the signal is just as important. Removed these and got an outside antenna. No problems now.

I live very close to a tower so my reception was great, however, promiximity didn’t always matter because when moving the antenna around on the entertainment system the connection would get fuzzy. The main reason for moving the antenna was to hide it because it’s not the most appealing thing to look at. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a trade off: have it out in the open and get great reception or hide it and have interference and so-so reception. The TV at the time was on the interior of the house therefore I couldn’t get the antenna closer to a window/door. I suppose that’s the nature of antennas! It did what it needed to do but ultimately it wasn’t my cup of tea.

This is really a great product. It is worthy every penny! I didn't hang on the wall, just lay it over the shelf and got most available channels. The sales person told me that this was the only antenna that folks didn't return and he was right. I really recommend!!!

I suspect this unit would not be enough (when used indoors) if your in an outlying (rural) area. You'd need something outside mounted on your roof for the latter. Best when installed near an outer wall or window. Trial & error will tell you which direction it should face for reception from the most towers. Enjoy!

I’m really happy with the Mohicans leaf. I have mine stuck to a window in my bedroom which I love. No more clunky antennas to look at. It picks up all the OTA channels that are available in my area. I’m very happy with my purchase

We were tired of paying for cable so we read the reviews on the Leaf 50 indoor HDTV antenna and decided to try one out. We have been using it for about a month and are not disappointed. We get about 20 channels for our area and the picture is high quality! If you are tired of paying ridiculous prices for cable, give it a try!!

This antenna is good. Has a nice long cord so it can be set up a good distance from the TV without having to buy extra cord or anything else. For the most part this antenna works great, sometimes the feed won’t be perfect but I amount that to being that I am using an antenna and not paying for cable.

Not good for networks in different directions

This antenna works well if the stations are within 10 miles of home, are line of sight, and there are no obstructions in the way. If there are stations with transmitters in different directions this antenna does not work well. In San Diego, ABC uses a different spectrum than NBC or CBS and ABC is very difficult to receive unless the antenna is less than 10 miles , line of sight. I tried the antenna in 3 different homes in 3 different parts of San Diego. I had to move the antenna to the window in each home to be able to receive more than 1 station. Even then I could not get ABC, CBS, NBC all the time. I got the best signal from a location at the beach that had no hill obstructions and was line of sight to all major networks.
