We were told we needed this since a regular antenna weeknight wasn't working. For some reason the Roku interferes with it. Also we were told it didn't matter where we put it because it's omnidirectional. But it didn't work any better then the cheap antenna we had already. And we're not out in the country or anything. We're in town and not far from several stations.

However, the $30 antenna I also have does just as good of a job. Not sure if it is just my location or what, but it wasn't what I needed to get better tv.

Was told that it would work. This product may work in houses that are not made of brick/slump block. However, the house that I live in is constructed of slump block and this product is absolutely useless! Will not pick up any channel without pixelating.

Aside from trees, building materials like brick, metal siding, stucco, and radiant barrier are the biggest causes for signal interference when an antenna is installed in an attic or indoors. It is best to check your local TV stations in your surrounding area and find out if these stations are transmitting low-power or high-power TV signals. Indoor antennas provide the best reception in areas with strong or very strong signals, an attic/outdoor antenna receives the best signals in areas of medium signal strength, and outdoor antennas provide the best signals in areas of weak signals. Not really impressed with the reception yet dont watch much TV anyway.

We tried it on a TV on the top level of the home and on the middle level of the home. It didn't make a difference, no channels were picked up. We brought it back.
