It's advertised to reach a signal up to 60 miles. What you get... The antenna which is super thin, about 10 ft of coaxial cable, the amplifier and power brick. The cool thing is that you can use your TV's USB port to power the amplifier. I purchased a cheaper RCA antenna that only got CBS and The CW - I returned it the very next day I purchased this one since it advertised 5 more miles than the RCA for a total of 60 mile range and because of the sooo many positive reviews. Conclusion - It will receive the CBS channel signal. I'll be returning this ASAP. Maybe it's the area i live in?

I did some research and found you need to get an antenna with dipoles(bunny ears). These flat antennas are great for channels over channel 13 but not so good for lower channels.

Posted .Greetings! This is not necessarily true for all antennas. You may want to try to do a channel scan without the included amplifier to see if that helps. Sometimes over-amplification can occur if it is not needed. We also highly recommend placing the antenna as high as you possibly can on a wall or in a window. Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When it works, it works great, but most of the time I have issues either getting low channels, mid channels, or high channels. sometimes mids + high/low have problems. I have had to move this antenna so many times it's not even funny. One day I'll get one set of channels, another I won't. I just wish I got the channels that it picks up good all the way around.

I even went to MOHU's website put in my zipcode and it provided the recommended channels I should get. Well to my disapointment I was unable to get the channels I needed. the furthest away was 37 miles and it was CW and a total no go. Then depending on the location I placed the antenna determined whether I got fox or CBS but I could not get both. I returned this product.
