Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

    Hit or Miss

The Mohu antenna is amazing when it works. The video quality looks as good as when we had cable. That being said, it seems to be really hit or miss. When we initially set it up we were getting great reception with the channels we normally watch and were happy. We came back the next day to watch a show and the same channel that looked amazing yesterday now had too weak a signal to pick up. We had to move the antenna around, and I kid you not unless I was holding the antenna, the signal would go away. I come back to it the third day and everything is working as it should again. I'm going to give it a week to see if it's more miss than hit, and if so I'm returning it.

I had an older, solid version of this antenna. It works great, pulls in channels from a good distance. This flexible version isn't as strong, even with the supplied booster.

Antenna only good if straight line clear.

Antenna needs to be completely free of any growth outside the window, nothing even close, my Palms about 6-8 ft. from the window caused way too much 'outage' to make consistent signal strength. Causing pixelation and/or flat-out BLACK SCREEN. Had to return them.

This was really easy to setup. It got me over 24 channels and every single one has strong signal strength. The powered amplifier helps give you that extra 10 mile boost from the normal 40mi radius, unamplified, antennas.

This antenna was rated the best of the ones I searched, It does a good job but still has glitches occasionally, Probably could improve with different placement but I don't want to try various locations and redo the channel search every time a small adjustment is made.

At first set up I was pleased, until realizing that the signal I got one day may not be what I got that night or the next day. I am located between two TV markets within 45 miles from me (and as close as 26 mi.). I could get none of the signals from the closest market...the antenna was on the opposite side of the house. I could get signals from the tv market on the same side of the house as the antenna, but then also needed to be moved at times to get some of the stations to stick. It just was too inconsistent and I get tired of having to move it all the time and re-search for channels. Probably fine if you live within city of broadcast.

Great antenna for the price, but give you limited channel. The reviews said about 25 channels. I only got 12 and some was not clear with an amplifier. After a week, I returned the item.

Worked great and was available to get about 20 over the air channels. DID NOT GET PBS as I assume was to far from thier broadcast signal. May try to get a different antenae booster or try diffetent locations for antenae.

This is a great alternative to cable. It picks up some local channels perfectly. We did have to shift the position of the antenna to get one channel, which is inconvenient when switching channels, but picture quality is perfect!

I bought this antenna when I decided to "cut the cable". Installation was simple. Setup was so easy, I thought that I had missed something. I picked up more local stations than I thought and the channels come in strong and clear.

    More channels than we had

We have a cabin with no cable or satellite service so we bought this hoping to get a few more channels. It works ok - we get about 8 channels and we're pretty far out. It is touchy though for a multidirectional antenna. We have to be very careful not to touch it once the signal comes in or we lose it.

As long as it's positioned well in the home to attract good frequency, brace yourself for a lotta channels. I discontinued cable and opted for this. Reception can get laggy and pixelated, but works well most of the time. Save money and get this instead of cable.

Tired of spending with Comcast. Don't even use 95% of what Comcast offers me for so much money. For short money, I watch enough to be happy including the ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox shows that I enjoy. It often takes time to load the stations for surfing the choices but that's a trade off.

Went from 9 channels on an old powered antenna to 24 with this one, and about 6 are HD now. Still a little finicky sometimes, but I have a couple spots I move back and forth between and that usually cures it. Love how thin it is and easy to mount pretty much anywhere.

The Mohu50 Antenna was thought to be a multidirectional antenna. The antenna works well, but needs to be facing the direction of the network city. This is not a deal breaker, it just interferes with channel surfing. When the antenna is facing the network, the reception comes in great.

I actually taped this to a window and then rescanned for the channels. It picked some Greensboro stations from Concord which I was not able to get before. I do have to move it around to get other stations. It is strange that I have more trouble getting local stations than those farther away.

After trying several antennas to get access to basic channels on my tv in the city of Cathedral City, this was the only one that brought up any channels! It was an easy set up and worked great!

I had previously used an amplified antenna, but this one was 10 times better! I get more channels and there is less interference when people walk by. It was recommended to me by tv floor staff. Only issue was the tiny pins for hanging on wall are easy to bend. Definitely worth the price!
