Posted .Greetings Leslie! Thank you for your purchase and feedback of our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. Placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. If you placed the antenna down low, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or to low to the ground. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. If you have not returned the product yet, please give us a call at 877-825-5572. We can do a free home signal analysis and troubleshoot to help pinpoint why you are not getting some channels. There are many factors that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or heavy foliage in the area. We always recommend you place the antenna as high as possible, as trees and buildings can block some TV signals. I have always had trouble getting reception in my apartment due to the direction my unit faces, and the interference from buildings near by. In the end, I wound up going with a more basic, typical antenna.
