There are other available local channel that are not of my interest. But I'm not about to pay for cable to to be able to watch football

Not so hot antennae.

I bought a more expensive antennae and now receive most of the available channels in my area.

Try to set it up on a spare TV in my kitchen to get local New York stations. Reception was very choppy no matter where I set up the antenna on the wall on the window high or low. Reminded me of all rabbit ears that we used to have. Set up was not as seamless as they made it out to be. I will try to use it on my patio in the summer hopefully I get better reception.
