About 5-6 air channels. Didn’t moved anything and it stop working about a month after. Tried setup again and again and again and I finally give up. I have the leaf mohu curve on 2nd floor for a couple of years and no problems at all… this one is supposed to have better range. Very dissatisfied customer.

Posted .Hi Elliot! There may very well be an explanation for this. When replacing your antenna, please perform a channel scan using your TV remote. When disconnecting another antenna model, the TV tuner locks in on high power TV signals, so the lower power signals will be disrupted. If you do not run a channel scan when connecting a new TV antenna then you won't pick up the other TV channels. Thank you!

Apparently the efficacy of this product is highly dependent on the orientation of one’s home, topography and tree coverage. We returned the product as it did t give us any local stations as promised.

My mom bought 2 of them and she only got 6 channels. We are less than 50 miles from Tampa/Ruskin and the description says it should reach 60 miles. I tried it on the window facing Tampa, on the east wall, on the south wall, up high, halfway up the wall...with no additional luck. Probably should have purchased the one that shows signal strength.

A handful of useless channels and one major local network in the Tampa / St Petersburg area came in. To add insult to injury, just found out I cannot return this item because it is 4 days past it's return date that had a two week limit. Overall Best Buy experience... POOR. Will be careful with future Best Buy purchases. On-line competitors are easier to reconcile returning poor performing products....

The last antenna I had was a pair of rabbit ears and I used those in college. Now there are a flood of antennas that all claim to do the same thing. After doing my research I settled on the Mohu Leaf 50. The reason I chose this antenna is because I live outside the city limits so I didn’t think the Mohu Leaf 30 would pull in local channels. So far the Leaf 50 has served me well. Looks nice but if you don’t want to hang it you can always mount it somewhere hidden thanks to its design. Sturdy cables too. If you live close to towers then go for Leaf 30 and save a few bucks. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

Based on my experience, don't waste you time. Would only pick up a couple of stations (about 25 miles away) and they were very poor. I did almost as well hanging a piece of wire off the RF input connector of TV! Its not a $50 improvement!

For future purchases, if an antenna is amplified, try scanning for channels without the included amplifier. In most cases an amplifier isn’t necessary unless TV signals in your area are low power, or you have longer cable runs to multiple TVs. Thank you.

Posted .Greetings! We apologize you have not had a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. All locations and terrains are different. If you are in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. This explains why the non-amplified antenna performed better for you. Please try removing the amplifier from new antenna and re-scanning for channels to see if this helps. If not, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 so we can perform a FREE signal analysis of your area to see what the problem could be. We are here 7 days a week to help! Thank you.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do NOT waste your money on this....Unless you can place it in a location with direct line of sight towards all your Local Broadcast Transmission Towers, you will not get very many channels at all, and the ones that you will get will have pixelated picture quality and garbled audio.....I have tried everything with this in an attempt to make it work, and it just doesn't. You will have better luck with rabbit ears and some tin foil.....
