Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

Bought this antenna to use because the advertisement stated it would pick up channels within a 60 mile radius. It did not. I was unable to pick up any of the standard network channels (CBS, NBC, ABC). Tried it in my home in Texas as well. Still unable to pick up the channels as advertised.

Stucco walls did not stop my TV signals

In east Fullerton I'm only 26 miles as the crow flies from the major transmitters northeast of downtown Los Angeles. But I wanted the 50 mile Mohu Leaf antenna for the best chance at good reception, instead of the 30 mile version. I'm in the southeast corner of a stucco apartment building. No windows face the transmitters, and the wire mesh in stucco covered buildings has been known to absorb or block TV signals. And there are some walls between my living room and the transmitting towers. So I wasn't sure I would get enough signal strength from the major LA stations. I decided to buy a refurbished Mohu Leaf 50 (elsewhere) to save 20 dollars. I saw nothing wrong with the parts. I ended up getting about 125 channels and sub-channels, although about 90% seem to be either foreign language, shopping, or religious channels. All I really wanted was 2, 4, 7, 9, and 11. They all come in pretty well, although 7 can dropout once in a while. It took me a while to remember that my TV has a signal strength meter in the menus. So then instead of scanning channels each time I tried a different location for the antenna, I just watched the signal strength meter as I tried different antenna locations. I recommend the Mohu Leaf 50.

Bought this cause it guarantees the channels that are listed on the packaging and I didn’t even get half of those. Only worthy channels I got was NBC and ion. Yes, there were other channels but a lot of them were repeated and repeated the shows that were crappy!

I purchased this item to cut my cable TV. The product states that it will pull in 30 or so stations over the air. Unfortunately they are tv channels that no one has any interest in. I was hoping for the local CBS, NBC, ABC, type channels etc. I returned the item.

I returned this thing. It was relatively expensive and did no better at reception that $10 rabbit ears. While your experience may vary based on indoor location and your proximity to broadcast towers, I have to say don't waste your money.

I tried this antenna in multiple locations and it did not receive broadcasts. I changed over to a leading brand that has a rabbit ear option for $29.99 and it did the trick. I do not see the benefit and/or the need for the added expense of this product.

I am less than twenty five miles from the TV station and this antenna would not give a decent picture. Faded in and out regardless of positioning. Tried to return it to best buy but it had been 15 days so no joy. I do not recommend buying this product.

It did not help at all. I understood it to be 360 degrees? I had one like it and gave it away thinking this one would work. Would not recommend. No value if it doesn’t work.

      Posted .

Hello there, no antenna is 360 degrees. The Mohu Leaf 50 is a multidirectional antenna. It will receive TV signals from the front and the back of the antenna. Since you already had an antenna connected to your TV, you will need to rescan for TV channels using the remote. Connect the Leaf 50 antenna, change your input to antenna or air and scan your TV for channels. If this doesn't provide all the available channels in your area, please move the antenna up higher on your wall or place the antenna up high in a window and scan your TV for channels again. You can also call us at 877-825-5572 or send a customer support rep a message at https://www.gomohu.com/support.html and a team member will work with you to troubleshoot the issue you are having with the Mohu Leaf Antenna. We are available to help 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm M - F and 10am to 6pm on weekends! Mohu
