Works great with a little setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this in my parents room for them after I convinced them to cut their cable bill. An antenna plus streaming apps is the way to go in 2016. It was painless to setup; however, no matter where I setup the antenna in their room (by a window is advised), I never was able to receive channel 9 and channel 13. Luckily they cared more about the other local channels, so it was not a problem. Your success will vary, depending on where you live. The FCC has a search engine for local channels you can receive through an antenna. Google away. If you want to make sure you get the best reception and most channels, an antenna in the roof or your attic would be preferable.

Good HD Antenna for the Price, but not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna does a relatively good job of picking up the signal of the major networks from my house. I live in an area with a lot of tree cover and most of the network signals are coming from about 15 - 20 miles north and this antenna gets them all. From time to time it gets spotty and I have to move it around, but for the price, the slim profile, and the fact that I no longer have to pay a cable bill, I am satisfied with the purchase.

WOW! Why did I waste all that money on cable?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't watch much TV but I do like to watch football on Sunday. I got the new 60 mile-15 db version of this one and it picked up 68 channels! I only need 5 to watch Sunday football. Granted I'll miss the games on ESPN but those few games are not worth the hundreds of dollars a year for cable. Super clear picture-looks almost HD. Easy hookup took 5 min. Combine this with Roku and Netflix and you have more than enough to watch.

I highly recommend it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The setup was a breeze! Took less than 5 minutes and I'm watching American Idol Wednesday. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other brands but it is worth the extra bucks. It makes my life easy now that I don't have to pay for cable EVER. Shipping could be faster though.

Dallas - 59 Channels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy with my Mohu Leaf 50!! I was worried I wouldn't get many channels living in the city and I really am clueless as to how far the channels are broadcasting from, so I bought the amplified version to be safe. To my surprise, 59 channels were immediately available! All of the channels for the most part are crystal clear HD and with the TiVo Roamio OTA device, I can DVR most of my favorite shows and watch them whenever I want. Definitely a great choice of antenna if you are looking to cut the cable cord!

Ok Antenna!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a supposedly 60 mile mohu antenna. I'm in Augusta, GA & my local pbs station is only about 25 -30 miles away! CAN'T pick it up!!! But I can pick up the South Carolina pbs channel that is 40 miles away GO FIGURE!!! I do get about 20 channels and the HD is good picture! These antennas do give you better quality picture than a COMPRESSED Digital Cable Box Can!!!

Extremely pleased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's wonderful to cut out our cable service entirely and get all local channels for free. I can't believe how perfectly clear the picture is. We placed our antenna up high in a window, and receive fifteen channels. Set up was very easy and quick. The manual instructs that the antenna should be kept away from metal; we first tried setting up the antenna in our sunroom, but were unable to receive any channels at all. We moved it into our den, and it works like a charm. Very happy.

Having trouble? Try it without the amplifier.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was getting pretty frustrated after installing it as directed only to get even less channels than before and staticy/choppy reception. I tried several different locations and kept rescanning and getting junk. I was to the point of considering just boxing it up to take back and hooking my old antenna back up! However, after looking online at some troubleshooting forums, someone suggested to NOT use the amplifier that came with it. So, I did that and VOILA, I got almost double the channels than with my previous antenna AND better reception.

Location is key
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the downstairs living room in a two-story house but unfortunately it did not work at all. Many different positions were used and two hours later nothing worked. I tried it in one of the upstairs bedrooms and it worked fabulously. Set up was less than 10 minutes and many channels came through with super clear reception. I would recommend this product although the location of your setup may not allow it to receive many or any channels.

I'm very happy so far...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased the Leaf 30 mile because the 50 was not in stock. I have 33 channels that came in right away. I live in a rural area and I was concerned because i'm in a heavily wood area but all of the channels except for 2 are clear. The other 2 channels seem to come and go. Overall i'm pleased. I still plan to get the 50 mile just to see if I can get more channels. I think with these antennas, it pretty much trial and error. I'm happy with mine.

Works better than anything I've tried
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many interior antennas that have failed or just didn't receive the main channels without adjustment or choppyness. Once I tried this and placed it near the top edge of a nearby window it worked perfectly. Finally an interior antenna that works! Saved me from crawling around the attic and going up and out on the roof to install a huge exterior antenna.

Works great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a couple of antennas and this one for the price works the best so far. Weather does affect the signal but it gets 70 channels including my local without using the booster. 26 if I use the booster so I dont. I mounted it as high as possible and dont touch it and it seems to never have issues, unless there's snow or rain but otherwise works perfect. Picture is clear too.

Surprisingly good reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a cabin in the North Georgia mountains. There was an old roof top antenna on the metal roof which I could not get any channels with. I did not think an inside antenna would give me any reception. I installed the Mohu 50 Leaf and after the first scan with the converter box I received 18 channels. My wife and I were very happy with the reception.

Mo Channels Mohu
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am about to cut the cord from my cable provider due to their outrageous price increases nearing $200.00 a month and paying for channels I don't watch. I researched numerous over the air antennas both indoor and outdoor/rooftop/attic mounted. I decided to purchase the Mohu Leaf 50 today as a test. What a great antenna this turned out to be. I live in Denton, TX a suburb of Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. I an probably 40 miles or more from our television transmission towers in Cedar Hill, TX. As Texas is gently rolling and the elevation of Ceder Hill is the highest in the greater metro area I figured I might get 20 or 30 channels max. To my surprise I was able to get all 59 available channels from 21over the air stations serving my area. When my television setup stopped configuring I ended up with 104 digital channels and 2 analog channels. Needless to say I was in shock because never before was I ever able to pull in every single channel ABC, CBS, FOX, CW, NBC and all the independents that Antennaweb.org said that I could with any other antenna that I tried. This Mohu 50 overperformed and I can't be happier. Now with my 4 smart tv's I will be able to use Roku,Wii and my Media Server to see only what I want on amazon, Netflix, Vudu, YouTube or Sling and have my locals at the ready. As a single roof/attic antenna is not feasible for my setup I will now purchase 3 more (one for each TV) since I have cable internet and phone service so each set can get the locals. I can now cancel my cable video services and FREE AT LAST!!!

Works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in the out skirts of the city. On top of a hill but place this antenna in the basement which is 3/4 underground. Out of the possible 50 station in my state I recieved 30. I am more than pleased due to more than half of those station being very week and www.tvfool.com telling me I would need a roof antenna to receive them.

Works Good, Easy Install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prodcut works good, I received 23 channels in my area. However, about 4-5 of them are in a foreign language. The item might work a little better if I could get it higher, but I live on the first floor of an apartment complex. Product was east to install and easy to hang, it sits behind my blinds so you can't even see it.

I loved this product until it stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read all the reviews and purchase the product because I wanted to get rid of cable it was great we got 40 stations unfortunately it stopped working it seems that it short-circuited after a storm do you need surge protection in the house to avoid this. I would recommend this product but you need to make sure that your house is protected against surges

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using an older antenna and was not picking up TV stations very well. I went to Best Buy in Hickory NC and picked up this item. Long story short this is a great product. The TV picked up stations better with just the coax cable plugged in the TV even before I plugged the coax into the Flat Antenna! Great Product and looks great installed.

Worked...sorta
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought the Mohu Leaf 30. I got about 6 stations. I did some research and read lots of reviews that made me feel optimistic and saw that the Mohu Leaf 50 with amplifier would work better for my area and the fact I live on a bottom floor apartment. According to Mohu websites I should get up to 50 channels. I'm about 32 miles from Chicago. When I got home and set up the antenna. I got 0 channels. Moved antenna and re-scanned about 8 times. Finally got some reception In my hallway. I now have about 11 stations of which 3 stations show up no signal and when then do come in, its a Spanish station. The remaining stations are spotty reception. I've moved the antenna around more to fix the spottiness and it only makes the reception worse. Wire is hanging in my hall, really low. If i attempt to raise the wire, I lose reception and get 0 channels again. I'm considering and Outdoor antenna. I don't recommend this for anyone who is on a bottom floor apartment in the back of the complex where upstairs and other buildings could easily interfere.
