Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

    Extremely Disappointed

I was very disappointed in this item. After I set it up and scanned my TV, I received zero stations. My outside over the air antenna picks up several stations. I was hoping this antenna would pull in more of the local stations but it did not. I will be returning this item.

Hi there! We apologize our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna is not working out for you. There are many factors that could be causing reception issues, such as, other electronics in your living space or the signal could just be located on the opposite side of the house. You may also want to try scanning for channels without the included amplifier to see if that makes a difference. It is possible for over-amplification to occur if you are trying to use an amp at a close distance of the broadcast towers. If these tips do not help and you have not already returned the product, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 and our customer service team will run a FREE signal analysis to try and pinpoint what the problem could be. We really do appreciate your purchase and feedback of our product. Mohu

    Expected Better

Placed the antenna in 4 different locations and it didn't find one station. NOT ONE. Previous cheaper antennas I'd used found upwards of 17. The only problem with those previous antennas is that they picked up every station except the major broadcast networks; 4, 5, 7, 9, etc. Returned them all and bought the Leaf based on other's reviews. I finally found a position where the Leaf worked. It only found 6 stations. Six. And guess what? Yeah, none of the stations was 4, 5, 7 or 9. I'll be returning this antenna as well.

No better than a piece of wire and cake stand

Disappointing, returning also it seems to be a prior return item. Live 6 miles from broadcast sources . To test OTA I hooked up a 3ft piece of coax to a small cut of twisted cooper I had from installing a light fixture to a metal 3 tier cake stand (about 18”) & was able to get 26 channels + PlutoTV 300+ plus. Had better hopes for amped antenna with gain but outcome was lacking after 10 reprogram attempts. Was only ever able to get 24 channels max and of those 4 of the HD (nbc, fox, cbs, abc) were so pixelated couldn’t watch. Also couldn’t get any Pluto channels. Strong suspicions this was a return as ani cable didn’t match box pix, was already connected to coax, plastic bags at bottom of box, and no instructions. Either it was defect and returned or just a failure from design. Either way going to return and avoid Moho stuff.

I bought this antenna on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee, now I'm sorry I wasted my money. I installed this antenna in my bedroom, then rescanned the tv and for a week or so I got a clear picture no problem; then the picture started to pixel as well as freeze altogether. No matter where I place this antenna, the picture always starts to pixel within a couple days. This antenna is worse than the antenna I was trying to replace.

    Not worth it

I had a temporary “antenna” that was nothing more than coax with a 2” stinger. I used scotch tape and stuck it to the rod that opens and closes the blinds. It works better than this antenna. Even with the amplifier installed it’s still not getting as many channels. This is going back tomorrow. It’s not worth the money. I’ll try another antenna later maybe. For now my trash antenna is doing a better job. I wouldn’t buy this antenna.

It worked, but the reception/antenna was only capable of receiving a signal at certain angles or positions.

Zero Channels - Do not buy

I purchased the Leaf as an upgrade to my dated Radio shack antenna. I am 15 to 20 miles away from the towers. This antenna picked up zero channels. I went back to my Radio Shack antenna that gets 40 stations.

a poorly constructed plastic housing is the downfall of this product. Nothing prevents the plug from rotating as the cable is tightened. Poor design, and cheaply made

I have had this antenna for over 30 days with little to no help with channels in the Charlotte market 23 miles away. If I had not trashed the box I would return this product. In short look elsewhere for an antenna.

    Doesn't work near as good

Purchased this on recommendation from store salesperson. I placed it according to instructions and scanned multiple times and received only seven channels, unusual because one station that's ten miles from my home didn't pick up at all. I returned and purchased the RCA amplified antenna for less half the price of this one, and received 30 channels on the very first scan. Leaf is overpriced, bulky and overrated.

I've been trying to cut the cord so I bought this with a TiVO Roamio. All I can tell you is that this isn't that great. For a 50-60 mile range antenna, reception is poor. I live within 14 miles of the furthest station and this only picks up 2 of the big 4. I also mounted the antenna at a high point and I have had no luck. I'm definitely not going to keep this.

I bought this antenna based on the reviews, but I did not have the same experience as many other users. I would strongly suggest that if you buy this antenna you try it right away with the option to return it as evey house and terrain is different.

Did not perform any better than the $5.00 rabbit ears I had. In fact, it actually performed worse. Tried several locations, parts of the room, heights. Nothing improved its signal. Thoroughly disappointing product. Returned it the day after I bought it and replaced it with a unit from another manufacturer in the same price range that worked twice as well.

We live in a small town and in an area where there are very few trees. We bought this as a replacement to paying for sorry Cable service with Flint Cable and nothing. Hooked it up and even put it on a window and nothing. Very disapointed and a big waste of money. We will be returning it for a full refund. I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe if you live in a big town but not a small one.

I can only get 1 channel in my area for free. I have to pay $29.99 if I am interested in getting more LOCAL Channels. I cant believe I have to start paying for local television. This piece of junk is getting returned tomorrow. You would think that they would warn you to check for availability in your area before purchasing this worthless thing.
