I put the paper thin antenna up on my dresser and plugged the usb into the usb in the back of TV and plugged the RF cable into the antenna port. I ran a channel scan and found 134 Free Over The Air channels. WOW what a great deal, all for about $50.00, Antenna also came with a 120 volt plug that had a usb outlet in it. I had no idea that there were 134 local channels in the bay area California. Cut the cord!

Unfortunately, I believe we have too many trees in front of the only window to use. No matter where I move it it still scrambles too much. Really hoping for better reception.

Mounted in the window it was able to pull in 10 strong stations which was pretty good. She decided not to use it so we brought it home. We live in a small town outside a larger city. Even when mounted on a wall in which the exterior is brick then facing the interior of our garage, it managed to pull in 36 stations most of which come in really well. This works so much better than the nonamplified antenna I tried years ago at this same location. Really impressed with what it can pull in.

It could be the way I'm facing, but there were still some major ones I wished I'd been able to get...NBC/CBS.

Posted .Greetings! We apologize you have not had a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. All locations and terrains are different. If you are in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. Please try removing the amplifier from your antenna and re-scanning for channels to see if this helps.
