Posted .Greetings! We apologize you have not had a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. All locations and terrains are different. If you are in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. Please try removing the amplifier from your antenna and re-scanning for channels to see if this helps. If not, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 so we can perform a FREE signal analysis of your area to see what the problem could be. We are here 7 days a week to help! Thank you.

I returned and went to Radio Shack to purchase another Antennacraft which does a great job of catching those channels that have weak signals.

I took it down and tried a few days later and it would only pick up one station. The picture is very clear but it won't work for me.

Some of the channels do not come in clear though. So you have to move the antenna around to get certain channels. But overall it seems to be very solid.

I have to hang in my window for reception. It is affected by rain, cold temps and wind (yes, even on the inside of the window!). The so-called amplification did nothing to help reception. Actually worked better without it. That said I am located over a hilltop and that no doubt creates problems. It has been better than other similar models but did require added cabling.

Only get CBS and ABC besides lots of other junk channels. They say put it in a east facing window but that doesn't work for our home. It was described as "the best" but the bar is really low.

This was very easy to install and does a good job bringing in channels

I have a lot of talk trees around me, thick walls, and the major TV stations in the, area are clustered about 35 miles away, so I can usually get them. Affected by bad weather too.

I'm sure it is my location, but I though I would have better luck with this antenna. I tried setting it up in several different locations of the room too, but didn't get any better.

I get lots of channels. RCA antennas were not good at all. Channels would go off more than staying on but not with Mohu Leaf 50!
