The most frustrating part is the networks I’d actually want to watch - NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX all have horrible signals while the various home shopping networks all come through fine.

Sometimes over-amplification can occur if you are in a short distance from the towers and it is not needed. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location. Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. Way less than my RCA MAT0007 "Shark fin" amplified antenna, which gets 28 channels. I used the new cabling with my RCA and stuck this piece of junk in a cabinet.

This was no different; no reception. The positive here is that due to my Best Buy rewards status, they gave me a full refund & no questions asked.

Now I am left trying to decide if I should try a different make and model.

We had more foreign language channels than we did English or local tv stations but if you’re wanting to see those then I’d say buy this one and if not then don’t buy it you’ll be wasting your time and money.

I have a pretty clear unobstructed window in which to place this, but it doesn't seem to matter. Probably should have picked up the one with the amplifier.

After moving the antenna everywhere it was just too hard to get channels that were any good. Maybe the room is just in a dead zone. But I had very little luck
