I live in a low valley, but well within the stated range. It works well with what it receives, but is selective with other stations; on one wall I get most, on the other, I won't get ALL the same ones, but a few others. This is while attached to exterior windows. I think it would get everything if on a medium elevation with the surrounding terrain.

Setup was quick and easy. I use the antenna with a Tablo device which records over the air channels. There are many in my area. I tried several areas inside my home and finally arrived at a good inside spot out of the way. Obviously, bad weather will reduce the number or channels or the quality of the OTA signal, but normally very good reception.

Good product, clear picture, easy to set up. My only wish is that you could pick up all of the public channels, e.g. ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX. We were only able to pick up NBC and CBS. Good resource is to Google the Mohu product and see a channel list of what you can pick up in your area.

This antenna is just as advertised. I get great signal from all the basic local channels. With my old antenna I only had 10 stations. This antenna is fantastic I now get about 40 clear channels. Setup was very easy. The biggest problem is finding a place to put it so you get the most channels and good reception.

Having read the reviews of some customer that boasted they had reception of several dozen TV stations, I was a little overly optimistic. Of course it depends on where you live and which stations are in your range. So check out the antenna before you cut cable service, since you may not have the selection you wanted.

Saved the day and the Cowboys game!

The satellite at our guest rental went out on a Sunday, right before the Cowboys game came on. We had visitors staying at the rental who were looking forward to watching the game (and we knew our 5-star rating was on the line). We decided to go to Best Buy to see if there were any solutions to our problem. I called my son, the tech genius, as we drove and asked if he had any recommendations for a tv antenna. He immediately recommended the Mohu Leaf. We had never heard of it, but fortunately Best Buy had the antenna in stock! It wasn’t the least, nor the most expensive, and I doubt we would have picked it on our own. The antenna was super easy to install and worked perfectly! It saved the Cowboys game for our visitors and served its purpose until the satellite company came out on Monday and restored our service. I can highly recommend the Mohu Leaf 50. Easy to use and worked perfectly!

Replaced a less powerful antenna with this one and the 50 mile range is better than the 30 mile of the last one. I dropped cable and now get great reception and with the Mohu and it was very easy to set up and the flat panel blends into the wall with the enclosed pins.

Read up on indoor antennas and this one looked promising. Have to leave cable. This one is the one. I get good reception and several channels including Cozi, Antenna and more, plus all local channels. The only drawback is that you can't record shows for future viewing. However there are work around a. Bye bye cable and your expensive cost.

I was looking to cut down on our cable bill by eliminating the extra cable box from my room. I usually only watch the basic channels in my room so this actually works well. The picture quality is great and for what I watch it works. The downside is if the weather is bad like rain or snow the reception is not there.

After cutting the cord a few months ago and relying on Netflix and Amazon Prime for my entertainment I decided to expand my options a bit further by purchasing this item. Item was really easy to install. Love the fact there is a power by USB option so I could use the USB port in back of my TV to power the amplifier. One thes cord that has to hang from behind my wall mount and occupy a plug-In in my wall. Setup was effortless. After the scan was over I received 25 stations most of which were of very high picture quality. The only thing I would mention to keep in mind (I was not initially aware) that is not 25 different networks. Some of the stations are the same program on a different station. In all I have 13 different stations with different shows at any time. My location is in the largest city in Montana. Not remote but more inhabited areas will probably find far more networks.

Purchased this antenna for a friend as a house warming gift when she moved to an area that did not have access to TV or Internet. Easy setup. She was able to access 32 channels. The only problem was that it only brought in two of the major channels - NBC and ABC. I would still recommend the antenna.

I live about 30 miles from the broadcast towers and was able to pick up 40 different channels. Now some of them weren't the best but all of the networks and several others come in crystal clear and in HD. I like that it has both black and white sides so it will blend with the room and not be so conspicuous. I do recommend this product.

Cable Cutters Beware Of This Issue

Not complaining about my purchase. My situation is what it is. Just giving buyers a heads up. Cut the cable in the mid 90's. I have FIOS but no TV subscription. I bought a new TV, Roku 4, Sony Blue Ray player, and this Mohu-Leaf amplified antenna for our renovated living room from Best Buy. I have a similar set up upstairs. The 2nd floor TV, with a passive flat panel antenna would easily capture 33 stations. Granted, it is elevated and faces North. We had our home exterior resided with vinyl shakes, Typlar, 1/2" insulation and new double pane windows. Since that project the upstairs TV only gets about 9-13 stations and they are digitally unstable. Have to keep repositioning the antenna. The problem seems to be that the foil backing of the foam insulation beneath the siding is blocking the TV signal. The BB sales rep suggested this amplified Mohu-Leaf to me. Said he's never had one returned. So I bought it in confidence. Unfortunately, the only way to receive a decent signal with it is to place it outside of the window and at that it only receives about 9 stations. I tried it on the upstairs configuration and it was just as bad. Another problem I have is that the downstairs TV exposure is South West and enshrouded with tall trees. I may have to install an attic antenna and have it wired to the living room. Or, hate to say it, subscribe to FIOS. Bummer.

My Mom is in her 80s and was not able to use the complicated remote that came with the cable/tivo system that's mandatory in her building. I bought this Mohu amplified antenna, unplugged the cable/tivo stuff, plugged in the Mohu antenna, and voila! She now receives about 35 channels that are clear as a bell! (The remote is now back to the "regular" one that originally came with her digital TV.) She lives in southeastern VA and is in a 4th floor apartment, so the height helps. On the flipside, her building has very thick cement walls, which I don't think is conducive to antenna use, but the Mohu amplified antenna came through like a champ. (I put it up on the wall behind one of her pictures to hide it. The cable that comes with the antenna is 16 feet long, which gave me more leeway in its placement.) Installation instructions were easy to follow.

I checked out a number of antennas prior to purchasing the Moku Leaf 50 and am delighted with my decision. I needed an interior antenna so I could watch sporting events at my office while working on weekends. My office is right at 50 miles from the majority of the antennas in the L.A. area and was a bit concerned that the Moku would not be strong enough to pickup a good signal for the majority of the stations I watch. Boy, was I wrong! The Moku replaced an older Terk antenna that was not able to consistently receive a good signal. I am now able to receive over 125 channels (and sub-channels) all without a signal loss. I have the antenna attached to my office window with a tree directly outside and still have no problems. This was a great decision providing an inconspicuous antenna and great reception. I strongly recommend this antenna to anyone looking to receive stations from semi-fringe areas.

I gave up cable recently and added a HDTV antenna which works well in my family room which has a lot of windows - did not work at all in my guest room which is small and has metal built- in bookshelves - the directions said to avoid metal and I could not get it to work even placing it up in the skylight

I bought this to bring in the local channels, because I'm giving satellite TV their walking papers, tired of paying for TV I don't watch and can't understand. It brings in most of the 47 or so local channels very well, and is very easy to install and set up.

Converting from a satellite provider and cutting the cord, I wanted a quality product that would maximize reception and quality of picture. Mohu brand is a little pricier but it's a quality product that ends up being a one time cost that's half of what I paid month for satellite. I'd recommend this product.

We decided to finally cut the cable cord and go with free tv. We live in the south side of town and the picture is great for living so far away from lookout mountain. The only issue that we have is when we stand in certain spots, the signal is disrupted. No big deal.
