LOVE IT!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who knew that I could do away with cable tv and still be satisfied? The Mohu Leaf antenna was easy to install. The instructions are easy to follow and it took, literally, a matter of minutes. I found channels I didn't even know existed, besides the networks. This antenna is HD. A whole new world opened to me as I had not been paying for HD on my cable service. It's magical. I assumed that antennas were things on the top of a house or the rabbit ears. Nope! A Best Buy employee took me directly to the Mohu Leaf antenna. It is very reasonably priced, easy to install, and HD. Who needs cable ????

FREE TV for Life!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After our cable provider went psycho and scramble stations requiring us to rent, yes RENT (hello ma bell, the want their rotary phones back!)...bozes for each TV to get stations we used to get. So GOOD BYE to cable and HELLO to FREE TV. This antenna was the last item in at the store so I had to get it. Otherwise I would have bought another one for $20 less. Nonetheless, I am please to stick to the proverbial cable "MAN" for the rest of my days. Good picture in HD and I'm in the basement on this antenna; still great reception. I placed it high on the wall and it's doing fine. Get one...any antenna that works for you! If one doesn't work, get another one. Something will work for your situation.

It Works Well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna seems to work as advertised. Any limitations are likely due to my physical location and not the antenna itself. I think this would be really great in an urban area where more more stations would be available. But I am satisfied with this purchase.

Easy Installation & effective!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much deliberation on cord-cutting, we decided to take the plunge! The Best Buy assoc. in the store recommended the amplified Mohu Leaf for our location. We knew we probably would not receive the ABC signal from our local affiliate due to our hillside situation, but we would accept that and were happy to receive 20 OTA channels with a simple mount in our front window. Black side out is almost invisible from front yard and the white side is behind the couch, hidden from view. All HD channels are crystal clear - sharper than cable. Even in heavy snow conditions there was minimal disruption in the signal. Quite happy and first month cable savings more than offset the price!

This was a good alternative to cable. Was able to
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a good alternative to cable. Was able to get at least 30 channels. There are surprisingly some good basic channels that have good reception. Old movie and television shows. Plus you can get local channels for shows and news. Worth the money !

Decent reception.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Antenna works well but needs to be aimed at the transmission tower for best results. Some area channels required antenna to be repositioned. Is finished in black on one side and white on the other to help disguise its location.

Excellent Choice to Cut your Cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read many reviews for the best antenna and this one had the most stars. This model is easy to install. I purchased 2 for both TV's that I own and so far I have only 1 suggestion to future buyers; Please do not velcro the leaf antenna until you truly believe that the location is the best for any type of weather conditions! It is all about the Location and Placement! I thought my original placement was great until a thunderstorm occurred and my channels went blank. I removed it from the wall laid it down near my DVD player and all the channels reappeared clearly on the screen.

Cut the Cable ... mostly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna will allow you to view most of the broadcast channels within about 50 miles. It is easy to install and takes up very little space. You will not be able to receive any "cable" channels ... Fox, CNN, MSNBC, USA, HIST, etc ...

Nice antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna delivers a clear reliable signal to our tv. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it's not very aesthetically pleasing & cant walk to close to the antenna or it disrupts the signal. Over all it does what I wanted & would recommend it.

Excellent Reception
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my son in Tempe AZ (on the Tempe Scottsdale border). For less than the cost of 1 month of cable this antenna picks up 64 channels in the area for free. Yes, about 12 are spanish speaking channels which we don't watch (but you might), but that still leaves 52 channels. The quality of reception is excellent, the antenna is flat and easy to hide. It is powered by a usb port on the TV but it also comes with a plug to power the USB port. I was worried because he is in a lower level apartment and the walls are cinder-block with no clear view of the sky ...it works great!

Works Okay.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is Antenna so just remember that. With this product I was able to receive over 40 channels in the area, although it still tends to cut out when using my cell phone or using the microwave for certain weak signals. The quality is great, maybe better than cable.

Much better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live about 50 miles from Chicago and 50 mikes from Milwaukee in a low area that has trouble getting cell phone signals. I hung the Mohu leaf 50 on the wall, scanned the channels and to my amazement got over 50 channels. Tried various locations and heights around the room to get the best results. I will say that a lot of the channels are received are in 480p and some go in and out too much to really be watched This is a good alternative when the dish goes out or used in a bedroom where TV is used to go to sleep by. Save that monthly cable box fee. Highly recommended even for remote areas. Also picture quality with Mohu on my old 720p TV is better than my 1080p plasma on cable or DirecTV..

ugly, but works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my 3rd and final antenna purchased to get PBS in my house. All 3 competitors did well except the other 2 couldn't lock in signals for any PBS station. Which is really most of hat I watch. This was low on my list because it's ugly, basically a mud flap, there's no stand, so far it gets everything, but is occasionally glitchy, it's somewhat obscured in a corner though, I'd rather not have cables running all over tarnation to get it to work better, I may have to, but for now I'm ok with the compromise. I should mention, I'm in a valley in a brick house 12 miles the other side of downtown. There are much better looking products that would likely work just as well for most people.

Good product, if broadcast towers were closer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to use as in indoor antenna when I "cut the cord." Loved the size and ease of installing -- literally put it up with thumbtacks. It worked pretty well for UHF broadcasts -- which is mostly what is in my area, but it has no VHF capability and that meant no CBS which was a non-starter for me. Tried it on the interior wall of a ranch home, with aluminum siding, about 45 miles from broadcast towers. As indicated, signal was pretty good. Eventually replaced it with a larger antenna mounted in the attic. I think if you are close to broadcast towers, this will work pretty well.

Good antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far better type of antenna than the traditional dog ears type. Picks up around 30 channels which is accurate for its range. I get a clear and crisp signal in a semi wooded area wether it's an HD channel or not. Great alternative to cable for local channels.

Good Antenna for Living Room or Bedroom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install -- easy to set up - easy to use. This antenna has great range and found almost as many channels as a whole house antenna. Slim design blends easily with any décor. Great product!!!

Good overall
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has been consistent and clear when days are not cloudy or rainy, can get half of the channels they advertise on the box but that also can be due my location, I believe it has more potential in a well clear area to receive more channels.

Good reception at a good price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Library staff has been wanting to see TV when at lunch and to keep up with the news on local stations. The Mohu - Leaf 50 picks up dozens of stations in the area, including the network affiliates in LA. Well worth the price and very easy to install

It would be great, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I refuse to lowball the ratings because I could not get this to work. I purchased this based on the rave reviews that I read across the web. I was looking for an indoor antenna as I am trying to avoid purchasing a larger outdoor antenna. Most of the TV stations in my area are apparently VHF signals and I just couldn't get the stations 23 miles away to pick up Channels 4, 5, 7, 9, etc... wouldn't work. This antenna is designed for UHF signals. It will pick up a VHF signal. I had it in my window, up high to get the best signal, but it wouldn't register any stations. I took it upstairs (second floor) and it also wouldn't pick up signals. I did take the antenna to a friend's house and was able to pick up one of the three stations in their area. Thus, I was able to confirm that the antenna worked. The design is great, easy to put together. I just do not recommend it for someone with primarily VHF signal range stations. Also, I purchased this off of Bestbuy.com with delivery to my house. I had zero issues returning it to my local Bestbuy store. Therefore, I recommend it to a friend, because it's worth trying if you're in the market for an antenna
