Neighbors said there were no OTA channels: WRONG

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale with decent reviews, and thought I'd give it a try even though my neighbors at our new house said there were no OTA channels to get in our area. A check online said there were no OTA's in our area, either. Boy, were they wrong. A quick scan with our new Sony TV and we get ABC, CBS, and Fox, along with PBS and some other side-type channels like QVC, the western channel, and a host of others. No NBC, at least for now; however, someone else we knew said that they could get it "occasionally" with one antenna they had near a second story. I'll have to find out where he is pointing it; however, am happy with my 'free' channels, as received, and the signals are all decent and clean. Liked that I could swap out the colors and chose the black. Recommended.

Reception not consistent

When permanently mounted it wouldn't receive as many channels, ABC was fuzzy, and I couldn't get CBS at all. With the long cable I moved it throughout the room with the same results. I returned the two others I bought.
