Something but certainly not everything.

The amplifier makes this a lot more useful than the similar units that are less expensive. On the down side the actual "find" is far lower than indicated--it is pretty hard to find a location without some tree or building interference.

Not impressed with the signal

May work fine in a house made of cardboard, but an older house with thick walls made for a horrible signal. I returned it and went with an outdoor antenna. Same price, much better signal, even without a signal booster.
