Regardless, I was unable to pick up stations further than 30 mile out. I was a bit disappointed. I do believe this is an excellent brand.

You're absolutely right—sometimes trying the antenna without the amplifier, especially if you're closer to broadcast towers, can make a huge difference. Good antenna when LOS is clear.

Installed outside with little difficulty. The inline amp makes the difference. The small size meant my HOA had no issues with it being on the front of the house facing the towers.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far, it's doing it's job and doing it well...I had gotten a less expensive one online, but it wouldn't catch the signal from the living room and the nearest window was too far and would have caused more work than necessary due to having to organize the wiring. Well, with this one, I can keep the antenna in the living room. Now, not all channels are caught, but a lot more than the cheaper one.
