Installed outside with little difficulty. The inline amp makes the difference. The small size meant my HOA had no issues with it being on the front of the house facing the towers.

Posted .Hi ThomasA, we are very sorry to hear our Mohu Leaf Amplified TV Antenna is not working out for you. There are many factors that can cause TV signal interference, like terrain and obstacles between your home and the TV tower which is most likely why you are not receiving certain channels. You may also want to try running a channel scan without the included amplifier. Sometimes over-amplification can occur if you are in a short distance from the towers and it is not needed. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location.
