Admittedly I'm near the limit, but it was frustrating to not pick up many stations. The antenna itself seems fairly robust, but the inline app doesn't seem to do much. Just be aware that you really need to be much closer than the max range.

Posted .Hi there! Considering you are at a shorter distance from the broadcast towers, please try running a channel scan without the included amplifier to see if that helps. In most cases an amplifier isn’t necessary unless TV signals in your area are low power, or you have longer cable runs to multiple TV. Using an amplifier when it is not needed could very well make your signal reception worse. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location. The salesman somewhat insisted I needed it and I didnt. He also thought I needed the Tablo?. I did not. Returned both.

We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572, Monday - Saturday, and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. Excellent reception, easy to hide behind TV

Used velcro command strips to install behind my wall hung TV and worked great. The amplifier appears to work great. Very happy with this purchase.
