That was not the case. It would drop signal often. I ended up returning it and purchased a One for All - model 14460, it picked up way more channels than the Mohu 60 and does not drop signals. This is by far the better indoor antenna!!

Terrible antenna. Don't buy @ Best Buy!!!

Had it for 4 weeks, weak signal strength/reception. Then it stopped picking up all of the channels. Tried taking it back to Best Buy. Best Buy only takes returns within two weeks and offered to sell me their return policy plan for an additional $59.99/yr then they'll take back any item. Nice bait and switch policy. The service ambassador wasn't helpful or pleasant. She made the experience worse. Don't buy and don't buy @Best Buy!

I saw the gushing reviews that said “this thing is a beast!” Probably from a guy who watches too much Chris Berman on ESPN. What the BB blue shirts don’t tell you is this thing, like all antennas, is very dependent on where you’re located. If you’re high up in a hill like in Worcester then yes you may pull in channels, but if you’re down in a valley forget it. Close to city broadcast towers or in a city, sure it might work. Too many trees blocking or even cell phone towers can affect it. I’m giving it 2stars because I can’t truly say it won’t work for some, just didn’t work for me.
