Used velcro command strips to install behind my wall hung TV and worked great. The amplifier appears to work great. Very happy with this purchase.

The range seems better and the last one I purchased for another TV a few years ago was great but this receives IMO a far stronger signal.

Posted .Hi BJean! We apologize that our Mohu Leaf Amplified Antenna is not working out for you. Placing an antenna in the right location is key to getting better signals. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572, Monday - Saturday, and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. This is the second one that I have bought, and I love them. I have one in my living room and the other one in my bedroom. When my friends come over, they are surprised of the clarity that I can get without paying a lot of money.

Posted .Hi Francine! Thank you for your purchase and honest feedback. Placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. If you placed the antenna down low, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. I live less than 10 miles from an NBC affiliate because I needed that channel for Football season & DTV had removed NBC due to so called cost issues, at least now NBC is back on DTV & the CW. I couldnt get either channel and as I said I live less than 10 miles from channel 22 NBC affiliate. 10 miles is being generous. Wouldnt recommend. I returned it.

Posted .Hi PaulW! When you are in that short of a distance from the broadcast towers, there is a real good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur when you are trying to use an amp too close to the towers and can very well cause you to lose reception instead of gaining it. Please try removing the included amplifier and re-scanning for channels to see if this helps. The salesman somewhat insisted I needed it and I didnt. He also thought I needed the Tablo?. I did not. Returned both.
