It didn’t bring in as many stations as advertised but it was definitely better than dish basic package and no monthly costs. Upgrade to the more expensive or rooftop model for optimum results. If you get confused with the installation call the 800 number. The help was crazy good.

I'm missing Los angeles Channel 7, 9, and 11 which are major LA County channels. I'm gonna have to look for a stronger antenna. For now I have to stick with channels 2, 4 and 13.

The 60 mile rating is false. Spent over an hour moving the antenna around and reprogramming. It occasionally picked up ABC, but never held it steady.

Posted .Hi JeffR! Considering you are at a shorter distance from the broadcast towers, please try running a channel scan without the included amplifier to see if that helps. In most cases an amplifier isn’t necessary unless TV signals in your area are low power, or you have longer cable runs to multiple TV. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location. Not nearly as good as an older version!

I bought a new TV, and was hoping to get more channels than the older antenna, which I would move to the kitchen tv. I was surprised to have gotten only 18 channels with the new one, as compared to 40 channels with the old one. They were wall mounted in exactly the same location, and powered with the same usb port. Can't blame this on location or anything else. It should be noted that the older model has better coaxial cable, and a different amplifier. I also got zero channels w/o amplifier new model, and 8 w/o amplifier older version. It will be going back to store.

When you connect a new antenna, it is recommended to rescan your TV for channels, so that the new antenna can connect to your TV tuner properly. About the coaxial cable, all our coaxial cables have been tested to meet the standards required to deliver TV signals in an indoor environment.
