Every location is unique in terms of local terrain, foliage, and where the antenna is installed may affect your TV signals. We always suggest you try the antenna where you would like to install it. Scan your TV for channels and then if you are not receiving all the available channels, move the antenna a foot or two in either direction and then scan the TV for channels again. You may need to perform this task several times until you receive the TV channels available in your area. For best results, we recommend placing the antenna near a window and scanning for channels again. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Sometimes if you are too close to the towers, the amplifier can over tune the TV signals and cause unnecessary interference. Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Posted .Hi Pego, make sure you are placing the antenna up high on the wall or in a window. If by the TV, that is ok, you may need to move the antenna over further away from the TV. After you install the antenna, you need to run a full channel scan on the TV to ensure you are receiving all the available channels. If you need any help, we are here at 877-825-5572 Mon - Fri CST.

Not so great…maybe my location?

This isn't the antennas fault, this would be a complaint to the broadcast television stations in your area. Most regions receive about 50 channels or more, including ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW, PBS, and many more TV stations with some pretty amazing live events and a lot of broadcasters are televising sports now as well. If you find yourself watching local network TV channels this is the perfect alternative to compliment streaming. did not work for us

We always recommend you place the antenna as high as possible, as trees and buildings can block some TV signals. You may want to scan for channels without the included amplifier if you have not already done so to see if that may help. No help at my apartment.

There are many factors that can cause TV signal interference, like terrain and obstacles between your home and the TV tower which is most likely why you are not receiving certain channels. You may also want to try running a channel scan without the included amplifier. Sometimes over-amplification can occur if you are in a short distance from the towers and it is not needed. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location. Don't bother.

We are less than 30 miles from several towers and couldn't get anything other than squares not whole pictures. We got a smaller less expensive antenna and it works great!

Considering your shorter distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. Please try removing the amplifier from the antenna and re-scanning for channels to see if this helps.
