I was expecting greatly enhanced channel selections, but this is only slightly better than no antenna at all.

I just don't know what to believe re marketing of HDTV antennas, especially indoor ones. One Mohu antenna gets more channels than the other, depending on where you place either one (even in the same place). So I know with this one I'm missing some channels. Luckily, I get all of the major broadcast networks which is all I really care about. So that's good enough for me. But ultimately I found a good location for this one. It's on the wall next to my window. It's a little unsightly, but that's the price you pay for free TV. Anyways, set up is dead simple UNLESS YOU HAVE TV ON THE WALL! One of my wall mounted TVs had easy access to the coaxial cable input, the other didn't. I had to take my second TV off the wall to access the coaxial cable. If you're in the market for an HDTV antenna, you cannot get away from this issue regardless of the antenna manufacturer, but it is something to consider when trying to cut cable and get an antenna. There isn't much to say about set up, you screw the coaxial cable in and place the antenna in a spot near the wall or window (at least that's my thinking). The most difficult part is for those people who don't navigate their TV menus often, you will have to go find the settings to scan for channels. There's no universal location. Once there all you hit is scan, but it can be difficult to find that setting if you haven't done it before. From there the TV scans for about 15 minutes and you should have 20-40 channels. Another annoyance of cutting cable is no channel menu. My TV luckily goes from one scanned channel to the next when you hit up or down on the remote, but to find a specific channel I have to know the numbers and they are weird. Some channels are like "41.1" or "17.15." You ultimately memorize them over time, but still, it's an annoyance. If you have difficulties scanning channels and finding any, then you need to move the antenna. Like I said, I found a good spot near a window which I think is best. I haven't moved it since, and I've had no issues, even when raining. All-in-all, a good product that works (for the most part) as advertised.

The power and stregth is really low. You will only get half of the channels as you would a big antenna. I tried to use this for both my 50” and my 23” TVs and worked horrible for both. I tried to mount it in several locations within my house in case something was blocking it to no avail. Waste of money

This matt was ripped from the get-go. My TV sucks because I cannot manually add and delete channels I have to go through a whole process. Once I finally finished the process I only had two channels available to me. Save your money this product is not worth it.

I am no stranger to Mohu products. I cut the cord three years ago and used one of the simple leafs without any power enhancements and it performed beyond my expectations. I then upgraded with a then top line leaf with power enhancement and I was further impressed. And now I have a chance with this larger and more powerful antenna and I was stunned by the performance - more channels - clearer picture - better reception and I was able to move this leaf out of line of sight of a window and the performance improved. This is so worth the money. When using this antenna, you will need to move it around to see the best outcome - there is plenty of coax cable so you can move it even to an interior wall like I did. I first tried at the window and the performance was still better than the 2nd Leaf I had owned. I did not think that moving the leaf to an inner wall would help, but I was blown away by the improvement in the performance. I was able to pin the antenna to the wall with the provided pins (you can use black or white side exposed and corresponding colored pin to match. Way to go, Mohu!

If you are looking for a great over the air tv antenna this does a great job! It is very easy to set up and comes with mounting hardware and two 10' coax cable rolls so you can pretty much mount anywhere. It's amplified signal really helps with the range it can pick up signals. Note, your tv does need to have a digital tuner. Older tv's won't find a signal with this if it doesn't have one. Any tv newer than at least 5 years should have one. After hooking up, reprogram the channel list so that it will search through and find all the available channels. With mine hooked up I'm able to get 47 channels, but will vary with your location and channel availability in your area. All the channels I am able to pick up are all HD quality. The mat itself is very durable, and very light. Overall it's a great antenna that is sleek, powerful, lightweight and brings in a great picture. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting the most out of a tv antenna.
