I hooked this up to an LG 43" smart HDTV. I live in an area that does not get a ton of OTA channels but with a $50 converter box (and powered rabbit ears) hooked up to this TV I was only receiving about 6-7 channels, and some of them pixelated badly as I moved around my living room and kitchen. After hooking up this MOHU on the wall directly behind the TV, I initially received 13 channels with only 5 of them "pixelating" so I moved the antenna closer to the ceiling and received 18 channels and a few still pixelated BUT I still had more channels! *NOTE: If you do move the location of the antenna, you will have to run your TV's channel auto-program again, but since it only takes a few minutes it's really no big deal compared to receiving more channels IMO. The antenna does come with 2 10' lengths of cable and a barrel adapter in case you need to use all 20'. The cable is white in color. The flat and very thin antenna is white on 1 side and black on the other so you have a choice of which side to show BUT>>> You can also decorate it or paint it how you like to match your decor. (Just don't use metal) The antenna does have an included amplifier that needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet as well. I may move mine again to a window location and see if I might receive more channels or more channels with no pixelation, but overall, I will say that the channels I do receive have been HD crystal clear even when we were having a heavy rainstorm so I am satisfied.

There are a lot of nice features with this antennae. A few things that are pretty great: Cables/cord design is quite nice. Rather than hard wiring the coax connection into the antennae and the signal booster, Mohu give you the flexibility to use the cables on the other side of the amp. Screwing into the antennae is another nice design choice. The size of the antennae is quite large. This is needed for the range if you are looking at a flat antennae. I could see this working quite well in a downtown highly populated area. Somewhere with a lot of broadcast options. The range is acceptable, but my previous antennae had better reception by a handful of stations (37 to 29, but nothing good was missing) The flimsy plastic antennae seems like it will break easily if you need to move the antennae often. My location would requite it to move often depending on what I wanted to watch. If you are looking for something that is not very visible, this might work, but the back is black. That makes it very visible if placing in a window for the best reception/ Bottom line, it works. There are better on the market, but their price might be considerably higher.

I decided to try this Mohu Leaf because I heard so many good things about it. Turns out it’s as great as everyone says, I gave this antenna an extensive tests over the weeks from trying it and even though extreme weather conditions it stay strong. The installation is very easy all you have to do is plug one end into the USB and another one into the antenna. The pictures come clear and they are in HD with local channels. Mohu leave claims to be in 4K but that will be remain to be seen with the Olympics coming up. Mohu Clear Peak Technology really enhances the picture quality. The range goes up to 65 miles perfect for people who live in the suburbs. I guess there isn’t much else to say besides it being a good OTA antenna with very clear quality. I personally would have liked more features but when all you want is good local TV this is the device to have. It’s dead simple to set up and worth the money.

Easy set up, free channels, great signal; I could not ask for anything more. I got all network channels in HD and a few others in HD for a total of about 25 free TV channels. I love my MOHU antenna. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is consumers should not have to pay anything for OTA channels.

SInce I canceled my cable, I've been looking to add some local channels to my TV. I haven't been a fan of streaming devices or the like so I wanted something simple to hook up and get access to more channels. This flat antenna works pretty well. I was only able to get about 30 some channels. About 4-5 of them are sort of fuzzy but most seem to come through pretty well. Does come with plenty of coax cable which was nice. All in all, this does the trick so I'm happy with it.

    Good T.V. Reception

For the price this antena is an excellent alternative to paying for monthly cable or satellite services. Easy to hook up and to use, it gives us crystal clear reception for approximately 10 local channels and not so great reception for approximately 15 more local channels (even more channels if we wanted to watched Spanish channels), which is more than enough for the T.V. in our guest bedroom, which is hardly ever used. Within 3 months it will pay for itself. And best of all when our cable reception goes out we are able to still continue to watch T.V. with this antena.

Don't let these little patch antennas fool you - they know how to get the job done. This particular one comes practically rolled up into the box and once extracting and selecting a spot to place it, you also have to plug in and power the amplifier that goes with it. The two pieces together give this Antenna "65 mile" power. anteenaweb.org recommends a 60 mile directional for where I live, and when I plugged in this mohu, it improved signal quality on my lowest most two channels. I had been having "not able to record" errors with my DVR occasionally and those have gone away. This kind of antenna with it's black on one side/white on the other, and easily hidden behind the TV itself form factor means you're less likely to run a new cable for this antenna, and it's easy to plug it in right there. Overall I like Mohu's antennas and this one is the biggest I've seen/owned yet. It works well with a range comparable to that advertised and I'm happy with it.

The setup was very easy. I used the available USB plug on the back of the TV to power it but a plug was also provided. The included coaxial wire was more than enough to find a great spot. I chose to use the included velcro tabs and mount it to the window but the pins provided are useful for mounting it to a wall. After doing a channel scan I was able to add a few channels which were unavailable with my previous antenna.

I have been using the smaller inexpensive little bowtie-shaped Mohu Leaf Metro Indoor HDTV Antenna for a while now and it is incredible. This Mohu Supreme Multi-directional Antenna is not only larger but includes a powered signal amplifier - but the performance with this larger model is barely better than rabbit ears. With my smaller, unpowered bowtie Mohu, I'm able to register 48 area television stations - this significantly larger amplified supreme Mohu is registering only 22 stations (and some of them are received so poorly that they fail to generate a usable picture!). I have tried every conceivable configuration of height and directionality but this pricier antenna is just a technological disaster. And that makes no sense - but neither does is make a recommendable purchase.

This is a review of the Mohu Leaf Supreme Indoor Amplified Antenna. I live in an area of large trees, about 25 miles from town. I didn’t have much faith that this antenna was going to get me much of anything. I had tried before, using various indoor antennas, and received 3 channels at most. I received the antenna which includes a flat flexible panel about 21” wide by 12” high, an amplifier, and coaxial cables, connector, and power supply for the amplifier, a standard USB type. The instructions were clear as to how to connect it all up, although very small print didn’t help any. After setting it all up, and putting the antenna behind my TV, I did a channel scan. Nothing. I moved it higher, and got 3 channels, the ones I normally got at best. I then moved it about 6’ and at right angles, placed in a high window, and ran the scan again. This time I got 12 channels, all in beautiful digital TV! It definitely is critical that it is placed correctly.

I don’t like paying for TV, so this is the perfect solution for me to still watch TV. My wife and I recently moved to a rural area in DFW, so we are a good bit away from TV stations. We get all the important channels that we want - Love it. This antenna has phenomenal range. Further, you can paint it to match your decor. This is very nice and will hopefully appeal to those of you who don’t want your living room looking sloppy.

I have had an amplified Mohu 50 on an in-home office TV for several years, and it still performs well. As I have moved to an area further from the "local" TV stations, I upgraded to the amplified Supreme, because it affords a greater range of reception. Once again, Mohu does not disappoint. Set up takes only minutes. Turn on your TV to a local channel and test for the ideal spot to pin up the antenna (It's not small.). When done, run a channel scan, and be amazed how many digital channels the Supreme will locate. I did not find the antenna to be as omnidirectional as it is advertised to be; however, that did not present a problem. I am very pleased and certainly recommend the Supreme, whether you are cable-cutting or simply hooking up a TV outside your cable set up.

This is really a nice antenna. Compared to my old round disk antenna the signal strength is dramatically improved! We are only about 10 miles or so from the local TV broadcast towers. But we are in a town (Duluth, MN) that sits on a hill. So direct line of sight with the broadcast towers isn't good. Before, I could adjust our old antenna to give us a good signal from one or two stations, but then the other stations would be out of wack. Impossible to get them all to have a solid signal at the same time without constantly adjusting the antenna. But with this Mohu antenna I didn't need to adjust anything. Just hooked it up and we have a perfect signal on every station! If there is a down side to it it is the fact that it is rather large. But, with the flat design and white on one side/ black on the other color it can be pressed flat against a wall behind the TV without it being in the way. Small price to pay for how well it works. Highly recommended!

I live in an area that is fairly hard to get good signal for most over the air antennas mainly because we are between two ridges. But surprisingly this antenna managed to pick up several more channels then my current lower tier antenna without much issue at all. I think the fact that it has a powered amplifier is a plus for said signal strength as well. Overall it has been working well without issues.
