I was hoping this would be good for the whole cord cutting idea but to get a good picture it needs to be near the window and is an eye sore that way. Here is to hoping for continued improvements in technology.

Received the Leaf Supreme pretty quickly. Read the instructions and plugged everything in. Initial scan of local TV channels were broken up and garbled. Raised the Leaf up higher on the wall and much better reception. Only complaint is the push pins inside the box bent pretty easily. I used push pins I have at home that were more sturdy.

    Works Well, Some Issues Positioning

Overall the amplified HDTV antenna works well. It is easy to connect to the TV and pulls in the over-the-air channels just fine. You have to try and position the antenna just right or the picture will pixilate frequently. It's a large antenna so trying to hide the antenna and cables for a wall-mounted TV is not easy. I was unable to get it to bring in a clear picture without having the antenna and cable showing (couldn't hide behind the wall-mounted TV and get a clear picture).

So I live in Texas and the antenna picked up 30 channels most of which were in HD. The set up was easy and the channel scanning was a piece of cake. The down fall to this is that it is an eye sore. I’ve tried to find some way to put it away and make it discrete but it just sticks out. I like it enough to keep it but I am going to have to be creative and figure out how to hide it.

My friend gave me her old 30 mile antenna similar to this but another brand. It only got two out of three major network stations, so I bought this because I live further out in the country than she does. No matter how much I mess with it, it's barely any better, if that. I am ordering a longer coaxial cable to see if moving it further over to the window will help. I wish I had realized I hated it before the return period ended, but life gets in the way and I was stuck with it. I wouldn't be so mad if it hadn't cost twice what it's worth. Guess I got suckered into paying for the brand.

    REALLY? NEAR 100% INEFFECTIVE

I really wanted this to work. I've tried it in multiple locations and taken a high-end 4K Sony TV and performed auto-channel several times. I'm on a hill at about 500ft. Good sight line. I'm about 30 miles from downtown Sacramento. I can't even get one single local network channel but I can pull in about 5 other channels; mostly Spanish and one info-channel. I am using the included amplifier and have checked connections several times. In fact, one side is black and one side is white so I even changed sides just to be sure. I'm not upset. I mean, everything can't be perfect but I was hoping for at least one or two network channels at least. Must return it much to my regret.

the supreme is bulky, needs power, and not at all better than the $10 antenna that is 2 times smaller and gets the exact same of purity & number of channels.

More channels than my old outdoor antenna!

I was receiving 37 channels with my old outdoor antenna. Then came Hurricane Irma. That antenna is now somewhere in the Gulf Stream, I think. I hooked up a basic indoor antenna, as a temporary fix. I only got 22 channels, and I lost ABC. I decided to try this antenna before climbing 30' up an extension ladder to mount a new outdoor antenna. I very happy I did! After the scan, not only was ABC back, I now receive 48 channels. Eleven more channels than I got with the outdoor antenna! It is a bit big for an indoor antenna, but I'm sure that's what makes it work so well!

    Best antenna I’ve ever had

I love this antenna, it’s very easy to use and set up. I also like that it mounts on the wall with thumbtacks included, rather than having to stick it on the wall or try to set it on a table or the floor. It gets excellent reception.

    Conflicts with Chromecast, WiFi

    Posted .

I bought this antenna because: 1. I read many great reviews of Mohu products 2. I wanted to save the $12 a month local charge on my DISH service 3. I hoped to get some Canadian stations with the 65 mile range (some antenna locator websites have me in range). I set it up and after much trial and error with the scans, I found out that I was getting alot of interference from my Chromecast device and then some from my home WiFi (Spectrum supplied modem). I was able to get some channels but they would drop in and out. If I unplugged my Chromecast and turned off the home WiFi, I got all local channels (but no Canadian channels) clearly without drop outs. I can't move the WiFi modem in my house so I can't try other locations to cut down on the interference. Also, this antenna worked best on the window but aesthetically, it's not the best looking option. The coax cable is stiff and it would have taken alot of work to get it more pliable to go where I wanted it to go so it wasn't so obtrusive. So, I returned it. Maybe for others it would work well but it just didn't work out for me.

I purchased a cheap, RCA antenna more than 10 years ago. It worked, but I was hoping to receive some more channels. At least, I was hoping the channels I already received would be more consistent. There are towers just under 50 miles from my location, well within the advertised range. The Mohu could not receive those channels and did not receive any channels my 10 year old cheap RCA didn't already receive. There is no difference between the performance of new, $80 antenna and my old $20 one. Very disappointed.
