The Mohu Leaf Supreme is a sleek flat antenna with an amplifier. The Leaf comes with everything you need to get started, including 20ft of cable, USB amplifier, USB wall wart, mounting options, and basic instructions. What’s great about the Mohu Leaf is it’s design. It’s a flat easily placeable design. It’s designed to be indoors, but it’s two toned (one side is black, the other is white) design makes it easy to blend into most rooms. You can place it behind a picture, or hide it in a window. It comes with velcro that can be adhesed or push pins that can be pressed into drywall through the two small holes on either side of the top of the antenna. The amplifier portion plugs close to the TV marking setup a breeze. Specifically the amplifier is powered by a USB connection - and per Mohu’s setup documentation, you can simply plug the amplifier into a unused USB port on your TV and it’ll be powered on automatically with your TV. It also includes a wall-wart in case your TV lacks a free USB port. As for results - like any flat antenna design, it’s geared towards the UHF band which is more popular in DTV transmissions than the VHF frequencies that some stations are assigned. Specifically in the Richmond VA area, there are a few channels that are notoriously hard to pick up. The Leaf does a decent job with the strongest of these, but on my first-floor installation I’m not able to pick up the lower powered PBS station without considerable blocking on a semi-frequent basis. I wouldn’t fault the Leaf for this, but it does show the weakness of this type of design. Most would prefer the Leaf over a large set of rabbit ears adjacent to their flat panel TV. I’d like to pair this with a Silicondust tuner at some point, which could then free up placement to be on my 2nd floor, which may make a difference for some of those weaker stations. The Mohu Leaf is a great amplified antenna. The design is very sleek and the amplified strength makes this useful in many locations. If you live in a metro area, it may be a bit of overkill, but if you live on the outskirts of a metro, it’ll ensure you maintain strong signal.

I expected to receive more than one channel. I initially connected this to the television where I wanted to receive the local stations. It only pulled in two stations, but had a messy look as there was no way to hide it. I moved it to an alternate TV and put the antenna on the window as I thought it would pull in more stations. I went from two local stations to one station that is very pixilated.

I rarely give reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to do so. Item returned. Didnt work for us...only got 5 channels at most. We bought it to pick up local channels since our satellite carrier was feuding with local networks. Everytime a car drove by or someone walked through the room, the signal would scramble. Had to rescan for channels every time we tried to watch tv. Picture quality was poor. Thumbs up to the best buy salesman for convincing me to spend 80 bucks plus tax on something that was supposed to be the answer to all my problems as far getting local channels...NOT! I should of known it was far to good to be true. Thankfully I was able to return.

This antenna picks up ALL the locals and crystal clear. We even have good reception during storms when we lose our DISH service. We live out in the country and highly recommend the MOHU.

We really do appreciate your feedback. There are many factors that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, your home could be made of materials, such as brick or metal and these materials block TV signals. We are here to help if you would like us to perform a free signal analysis in your area to help you get the best TV signals at your location. Call us at 877-825-5572 or you can chat with us online at https://store.gomohu.com/HD-TV-antennas.html. We are here 7 days a week! Thank you Mohu

I live pretty close to the broadcast towers for my TV market. Many Over the Air (OTA) stations are available including some interesting sub channels. So being able to receive all my local channels is convenient and with a good quality antenna such as with Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro clear, digital dropout free. In any case the Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro antenna (or better yet TV Doormat as I like to call it since it resembles the size of a typical one) does a good job. Being so close to the TV towers (but quite a bit away from our PBS channels) it was interesting how well it was able to receive near and distant stations without having to use the supplied USB powered signal amplifier. Overall I figured I would also get one for my older parent who watches quite a bit of “oldie” stations. Her apartment, being further away from the transmission towers really made good use of the amplifier, pulling in stations she had not been able to receive before. Literally her TV was able double the number of stations she was able to clearly receive, even in poor weather. The package came with an extra long cable allowing the antenna to be placed high on the wall and near a window. I have purchased other OTA antennas of this type, this one seemed to perform the best, pulling in stations from nearly 50 miles away as advertised. Pros: - Performs well - Inline amplifier improves signal, pulls in distant stations - Flat and easily mountable on a wall or window Cons: - Did not see much use for the built in LED signal/placement meter
