Nothing special

Does not perform as advertised.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna was supposed to pick up all local channels, but it does not do what we were told it would. The local channels, at different times, will lose the signal completely. Other channels may or may not receive their signal depending on the day, the night, the weather, or whatever.

Works very well, when placed right
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that this antenna is the best one I have owned so far. RIght out of the box you can tell that it is very easy to install. There is a power brick that you connect to USB and to a coax cable out to the antenna. It also includes 4 "sticky" velcro pads for mounting on a flat surface. They are actually the reusable type which makes it easy for re-positioning the antenna. After a few attempts to capture a good signal, it finally scanned most local channels. That is to be expected with any antenna. If you already know where you have the best reception then this process may be easier for you. I am new to "cutting the cord" in my living room so this took a little trial and error. Once placed correctly it worked perfectly. The design is perfect for flat screen TVs as it is very flat. I mounted the small power brick to the back of my TV and secured the cables to hide them. I then mounted the antenna to the wall behind the TV where it would be hidden. This was the best spot for it both signal wise and asthetically. I left enough slack on the line to let the TV move freely as it is a full range mount. Overall I am very happy with this antenna, and i would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to cut the cord.

not enough ant
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna only picked up eight channels. Two were shopping channels, one local station, not enough channels to justify the price.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This does not pick up as many channels as described. I have moved it to several locations and all get different channels and some the same. Then it split off up top and it’s now in the garbage

Great Reception, Awkward Design
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mohu Leaf Supreme is a great antenna in just about every way you'd need. It is incredibly easy to set up and use with only a few drawbacks that I can think of. What you get: in the box you get the antenna, which is a large then flexible plastic rectangle, a coax cable, velco to stick the antenna to the wall and push pins if you don't want to use Velcro, and an amplifier. While I appreciate the inclusion of a coax cable, the amplifier uses a USB connector for power and doesn't include a power brick. In most cases I wouldn't think of this as a huge deal because most electronics that don't include a power brick end up close to a USB Jack and it isn't that big of a deal. But, this antenna is going to be I'ma corner, no where near a computer and will never move. This was a very poor choice on Mohu's part in my opinion. Set-up: there's really nothing to it. You plug the coax cable into the antenna, the other end into the amplifier, plug in the amplifier, and connect to a TV. After that, all you need to do is find the spot you get the best reception. The antenna features an series of indicator lights to help you find the best signal. I didn't find it much help given I placed the antenna on a brick wall behind a picture frame and the indicators told me I had 50 channels. Then I stuck the antenna on a window and got 75 channels. I'm not a huge fan of having an antenna glued to my window but, unfortunately this antenna has to be mounted on a wall or window and can't be stood up since it doesn't have feet or a stand. Use: the reception is really good. I get all the local VHF and UHF channels in my area and they all come through crystal clear. Very seldom do I have any sort of stutter or lag. I use this antenna with an HDHomerun and it works perfectly for getting all the local channels on every TV in my house. Overall: this is the best indoor antenna I've ever owned. The first one that I haven't had to move around the house to get specific channels. I wish a power brick would have been included and wish there was a better way to mount it other than on the window. But, I can live with those short comings given the signal clarity and functionality this antenna provides. Would recommend this antenna to anyone looking for a good antenna that lives in the suburbs of a major city.

worked much better than expected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about how well this would work given my house is up against a mountain with other hills/mountains around the area, possibly blocking signals. But I think it worked very well and would recommend. In the box; Very thin, light flexible antenna (21.5 by 11.5 by .04 inches). Think construction paper for thickness and weight. One side is white and the other black. Has Velcro attachments if using on window and 2 black and 2 white small pins to use if mounting on a wall. Initially the antenna would not lay flat from being curled up in the box, so I just put it in the sun for a few hours and it was fine. About 15 feet of cable Amplifier has a 2 ft. USB cord for connection to power but did not come with AC/USB brick. If your TV doesn’t have a free USB connection or as was my case - an older TV without USB at all – you will need to find a free USB brick lying around the house, as I did, or maybe your power strip has a USB outlet. You can use without amplifier but I didn’t try that. No instructions other than the little printed on the box. It states its 4K ready but I don’t know of anything broadcasting in that resolution where I live. 1 year warranty To use (indoors only); a) Attach cable to antenna then attach cable to amplified connector which then attaches to TV antenna input. b) Plug in amplifier to power source. The white side of the antenna - at the base where the cable attaches - has 4 led lights that indicate signal strength. Moving it around the best I could achieve was 2 out of 4. c) Scan for channels (make sure your TV is set to antenna and not cable box). After scanning my TV stated it found 65 digital channels (with resolution raging from 480I to 1080I). Major channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS were all found. Since these are digital channels some had multiple sub channels ie 12.1, 12.2, 12.3 etc. A few of the 65 channels were really just a blank screen due to signal being too weak to display anything. But my TV allows me to edit channels so I just “hid” those as well as any other channels I wasn’t interested in viewing. You will need to check what options your TV allows (may be able to name them also). While there is no guide to show all the channels most, when selected, would indicate the times of the show being watched – pressing info on my TV provided the info too. My biggest issue is the fact that you cannot turn off the LED signal strength lights. So, I wound up putting the black side out so as to hide the lights against the wall. Also the antenna is built to be mounted on a wall or window – so there is no stand. If you are looking for an antenna to help “cut the cord” I think this is a good option.

cumbersome and ugly.

Can’t Get Any Better Than This
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As most IT nerds like myself, I embraced the digital age from the beginning when most people did not even know about alternatives to cable TV. Netflix and Hulu eventually became great options but getting local TV was still a problem. Using a digital receiver and apps such as Plex provided me with the capability of not only watching free over-the-air TV, but also DVR functionality. That required a good antenna and since I was going digital, a powerful but discreet one was needed. That is where an antenna such as Mohu Leaf Supreme comes handy. Install could not be easier. If you know how to plug your TV to a power outlet, you already know what to do to install this antenna without any instructions. It is that simple. While my previous antenna was a Mohu and worked well, it was not a Leaf and looked bulky for this thin, good looking device age. Not this model. It is thin and flexible. Not only that, it got rid of some screen artifacts that I was experiencing with some channels before. I would attribute that to its 15dB gain, which allowed me to get all channels broadcast in my county and beyond. What else could I say about it? It just works and does so in an excellent manner.

My second Mohu Antenna and color me impressed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit I received did not have a manual in the box explaining the orientation of devices or operation of the strength signal lights, but an email to Mohu support got me all the information I needed in a couple days. My first Mohu was back in time a while, one of their original small thin designs that worked great by a window in the middle of town. My current house is a bit more complicated, where I can place an indoor antenna and the amount of tall trees and building material in the direction of the main TV station antennas. The signal lights show strength level with little LEDs, the more LEDs the greater the signal strength received. This helps you with placement. But they are on all the time, no way to turn them off. If they will be too visible and bother you after you have selected your place for the home of the antenna, you can cover them with white or black electrical tape (the two colors depending which side of the Antenna you choose to go with your walls/décor). You can mount with adhesive tape or push pins (both included). My biggest Kudos is that I got all of the local stations in with very good picture WITHOUT the need of the amplifier, which is a first for me at my current house. Its brick, the Antenna is parallel, but about 15 feet away from large window, and there are many leaf trees between the window and the hills many miles away with the transmitters. I did not need the included amplifier (which is usb powered, but did not include a power supply), for the main local stations, but did try it out for more remote stations in a different direction, and it did definitely help me get the Fox affiliate in more clearly from a farther away source not in the local community. Another note about the usb powered amplifier. As was pointed out to me by Mohu support. Its main intended use is be plugged into the usb port on your television, so it is only powered when your TV is on, and so the LEDs are only on when your TV is on as well. Overall, this antenna worked very well pulling in local stations in one direction, and I would recommend it very much for places where having an outdoor or attic antenna is unwanted or not possible. You might not even need the amplifier for most use cases in cities or suburbia, but I'm sure it will come in handy for places where there are more obstructions in your line of sight.
