    Good Antenna besides range

After recieving the new Mofu Leaf Supreme Pro, I was honestly excited to try it over another Best Buy brand antenna I have been using since 2012. Upon opening the box and finding the antenna rolled up instead of flat, was a downer for me. I had to set the antenna flat on my table with books on it for 3 days to get the antenna flat. Trying to hang up the antenna straight out of the box was comical, it just doesnt happen easily. I hung up the antenna in the same spot as my old antenna and ran the TV scan 3 times. I then moved and rescan a total of 5 other places within my home aimed at the area my signals come from. I simply lost channels compared to my old, oversized current antenna. I tried powered and non powered setup in each location as well. I went from 31 channels to 3 with the Mohu. I did take the Antenna to my fathers and he lives 18 miles closer to the epicenter for my area. It did grab my 31 my house grabs and added 6 more. So, if you are within 15 miles, you are good, outside that, I cannot guarantee a hefty amount of channels. Quality of the picture is great at my fathers, coming in HD with zero lag or shuttering. I gave the antenna a solid 3, it is a 4 to 5 with my tested 15 mile distance at my fathers.

I brought this home from the store and hooked it up. I got 4 channels. Very disappointed. I get 20 channels with my rabbit ears. I read the reviews on this Mohu and was really hoping for something special. I returned this the next day.

This purchase was a gift...From what I have been told, it didn't make a difference in reception or in adding other channels that would not come in or had a weak signal...

    Best Cord Cutting Antenna Yet!

After happily cutting the cord several years ago, we’ve tried a half-dozen different antenna options, and this is the best so far. Prior to this Leaf, we had the most success with the Mohu Beam, but still had frustration with lost signals & intermittent pixilation. We also spent way too much time moving & adjusting previous antennas when they suddenly lost the signal. Previously, we were never able to lock onto more than 24 OTA channels &, half the time, one of the major alphabet channels wouldn’t come in. With this Leaf Supreme Pro, although the signal indicator never shows more than 1 light (out of 4) we’re able to get 37 channels, including the ‘big 4’ OTA networks, & each one is clear with rare pixilation! Mohu is definitely improving their performance! The Good: - Fast & easy setup – takes less than 15 minutes and most of that time is spent moving the antenna around to find the best signal - No tools required – coaxial cable, Velcro & even multi-colored push pins are included - Paper-thin design - Ease of placement – The multi-directional design doesn’t require placement in a window. It can even be hidden behind a picture if the signal is strong enough - Amplifier is included - Indoor use – no need to climb into attack or onto roof - Portable – perfect for renters. Nothing to leave behind. The Bad: - The plastic antenna arrives pre-curved & is impossible to flatten out. If it were sold in a fitted flat box, it would be much easier to manage & set up

This item was very disappointing. I was only able to connect to two channels only. They are pixelated and not clear. A waste of $80.00. I should have returned it but bad weather kept me from doing so.

It didn’t work for me as good as the Leaf 50 by the same manufacture. I thought I would get a lot more channels and a better picture but there was no difference. So I returned this Antenna.

Greeting Duffyann! We are sorry the Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro is not working out for you. There are many factors that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. This is not necessarily the antennas fault. You may need an antenna installed in your attic or on your roof. Give us a call and we will perform a free signal analysis in your area to help. Call us at 877-825-5572 or you can chat with us online at https://www.gomohu.com. We are here 7 days a week! Thank you for your purchase and feedback. Mohu

We really do appreciate your feedback. Sorry the Leaf Supreme Pro antenna didn't work out for you. We hope that once you hooked up the new antenna that you rescanned your TV for channels. When removing an existing antenna, the TV tuner locks in on those frequencies. When you connect a new TV antenna it is important to rescan the TV for channels. Thank you Mohu

Best Feature is the Signal Indicator

For Antennas, placement is key. The Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro takes the guesswork out of placement by providing an on-board signal indicator. With my previous antenna, I would move it about my TV room and rescan the channels. It was a tedious process and yielded maybe one or two channels more. With the Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro, there is a signal indicator that is powered by the included amplifier unit connected to a USB power source. The package contents of the Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro are: the Leaf antenna, 10ft of coax cable, an amplifier unit with USB for power and an assortment of fasteners for the leaf antenna (pins and velcro). What I think may be missing from this package is an AC adapter for the USB connection, however, most modern TVs have a USB port for power delivery or you can use most old phone charging adapters with an available USB port. I connected the Mohu Leaf antenna to the coax cable, then the other end of the coax cable to the amplifier unit and then the USB connection on the amplifier to a USB portable power bank that I use for charging my phone when I don't have a wall charger handy. This supplied enough power to the signal indicator to let me walk around my house to find the best location for the antenna. As I expected, the easternmost side of the house gives me a full 4 bars of signal strength. But of course, my TV is on the western side of my house. Having the antenna in the same room as the TV, I was getting one bar of signal strength and I was getting 31 channels detected, out of those detected channels, 20 of them were tunable. Most of the tunable channels would get pixelation and occasional freezes. By moving the antenna to a location with 4 bars of signal strength, I was able to get 66 channels detected, out of those detected channels, over 60 of them were tunable and the pixelation and freezing has gone away. The only negative with this antenna is that there is no way to switch off the signal indicator lights. These lights are on whenever my TV is on and providing power through the USB port. I would rather have a switch to turn these lights off, but I can live with putting some white colored tape over these lights. Performance of the antenna itself seems on par with the previous generation Mohu Leaf Supreme. I checked my channel availability via Mohu's website and Mohu estimates I should receive 64 channels, and I am able to get 66 channels detected. So I'm pretty happy with the performance.
