The best antenna that I've owned
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mohu antenna is clearly a great option if you are planning to get ride of cable and you plan to have a basic TV service that arrive to you through the air. It’s always hard to see the efficiency of one antenna between users, while some of my coworkers are blessed by hundred of channels (sometimes repeated) received by air, I never being able to obtain more than 30. With Mohu I don’t only arrive to 45 but the quality of each reception is over the average of my previous experiences. Easy to setup, installation is very simple, requiring only a connection to the coaxial cable of the television and another to the power (both wires included in the box), the television will make an autoscaning process and the end of the process the channels will appear on television. Compared to other models where it seems that the physical location is a determining factor, I have observed that with a totally flat shape, just placing the antenna near an exterior wall or a window, the reception is stable. The only exception, to this has been when I tried to attach the antenna directly to the TV back (remember that being absolutely flat, can be hidden behind the TV), the results were no so impressive. Finally, and when the good spot has been found (I would recommend doing a couple of channel scans in different placements of your house before final installation), I never have been forced to re-orient the antenna for improve the reception of certain TV stations, all are delivered in the same good quality level. This was a general practice with the other antenna that I own, and it made the channel search not so obvious. My two only complaints, that seeing some other opinions, seems that they are exclusive of my box: 1.- inside the box there was no book of instructions to install the antenna. A quick search in the web solved the issue. 2.- inside my box there was no USB adapter to connect it to the power. The instructions mention the possibility of connecting the power directly to a TV free USB port but my TV model has no one available so I required an adapter.

Location location location and product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everybody says that a TV antenna has got to be up high, most of the time that's true. People also say that it depends on if you live in or out of the city I have found that to be true. this TV antenna is great I live on a second floor condo so I guess I'm am enough and I live in the city. When you add it all up it's a recipe for success. I get my regular channels and a few i didn't expect and they weren't kidding about hooking it up to the Wi-Fi. I'm glad I'm able to cut the cable cord that was starting to cost.

Save on cable TV but also nice to have as a backup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna is a good alternative to paying the high cost of cable TV but another nice thing about this antenna is it provides a backup solution in case your cable TV were to go out. Placement with this antenna is key. Behind my TV next to a wall, it wasn't that great. Closer to a window will be more ideal and after playing around with a few positions, I was able to get about a dozen channels, mostly in 1080. Most of the stations were about 40-50 miles away and they came in clear for me so although I could not attest to the actual 65 mile range, it did the job well for me.

Digital antenna done right
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna does what it needs to do, provide digitally broadcast channels to my TV. Nothing more needs to be said, however I’ll still going because reasons. One of the biggest issues I have had with other antennas is I either get Fox 11 or KCAL 9, never both. Low and behold I get both with this amplified antenna! The design is slim and was easily placed in my home. Perfect fit for me!

Easy Setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The box for this is larger than expected. Opened up to see what was involved in setup and there were no instructions. I thought about checking online for help but figured its an antenna, just connect all the wires and that should be fine.... and, it was. My only question is how much of a "curve" should there be in the unit for best reception, and perhaps... should I point in a different direction if I don't get 65 channels? Next, switched over to the TV to have it accept the antenna for input. This would be TV specific but was easy for ours as there is a button on the remote to switch. The TV does a scan through all the channels. At first, it wasn't finding anything and I was getting a little worried. Eventually it started to pickup 5 here and another 5 there. By the time it was done it found 40. Will play around with location of the antenna to see if we can get it up to 65. The connection cable it comes with is long enough to try some other places in the room. We're right next to the window so that shouldn't be an issue. Picture comes in perfectly. The guide is helpful, though my son has to get used to no DVR/pause on the TV for those stations. This is first TV in house that isn't connected to cable and we're able to get just about everything we need so far, with the addition of Netflix and Amazon Prime and Hulu and.... If things go well can scale back on the other TVs, too.

The leaf line keeps getting better and better!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in the middle of radio wave heck. For whatever reason, our development just happens to be in a bad dead spot for everything. But, the last leaf offering was good, this one is an excellent indoor antenna that has been able to receive signals previously unable to receive. It is rated as a suburbs antenna and I'm about 30 miles outside of the City (driving not as the crow flies) but am always fascinated how and why some of these work great and some don't. The leaf line is always better than the rest, yes. This one stepped up the game a bit. One small but important feature on this, besides a decent amplifier, is the built in signal indicator built into the antenna itself. It gives you a starting point that is much more useful than the antenna aiming utilities built into TV's these days. The ones on the TV seems to be so delayed that they miss the optimal point. This seems to indicate a signal improvement much easier and quicker than the TV. So I went from a few of the stronger basic channels and some sub-channels, to many more and some from another City that is nearer to where I live. Very good choice for those in the suburbs, and for anyone who wants to have a good "plan b" if the cable goes out, OR for the cord cutters who want local programming. Thanks for another well designed product Mohu! I will get many years of use out of this!

Gets The Job Done
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as TV antennas go this has been one of, if not the best, ones I've ever used. Pro: easy to mount to an interior wall out of sight, doesn't take up a lot of space, and it pulls in some crazy wicked signals. Cons: I haven't found any so far. This antenna is aweomse! I'm able to pull in channels I didn't even know was available, including ones from out of market. Recommending this or folks is a no-brainer. Go buy it!

Great antenna for cord cutters
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It doesn't pay to have cable in every room so for my other TV's I use a digital antenna. They come in all different sizes and may or may not have a inline amplifier. This version comes with a 12" x 22" antenna, usb amplifier, a 6 Ft coax cable, push pins and some velcro. Installation is super simple and I was able to clearly pick up 60 channels clearly and 4 channels that are a little spotty however, I don't think the spottiness it is because of the antenna. With that being said, If you are cutting the cord or just need a digital antenna for your secondary TV I highly recommend buying this one.

Best indoor antenna I've seen yet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've been struggling with our previous model of antenna and was even looking to upgrade to an ugly external antenna just to try to improve signal, but I saw this come up for review so I jumped on the opportunity to try it. I'm so very glad I did! All the channels I've struggled with in the past, come through crystal clear! This and the old antenna were installed very high on a wall. It's a wall that doesn't go up to our 10 ft ceiling, but it does go up 8 ft. This one was attached to the wall just below the top where the old one actually sat on top of the wall. We didn't even plug in the amplifier yet! One channel we used to get clearly has gone down in quality, however we never watch that one so it wasn't a big deal. The channel we always watch is now fantastic! I'm super pleased we don't have to add an ugly antenna to the outside of our home!

Good, but some flaws to overcome
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product does what it advertises but has several things to be aware of. First is overall appearance. White on the front facing portion, black on the other There is no way to conceal this if you most likely have to stick this on a wall. Has a white coaxial cable which must connect to the antenna unless you are running thru your walls, this is tough to hide. I did use the provided adapter booster and had approximately 75% signal strength. I will say once it scans and finds channels, the HD is fantastic. Comes in perfectly. I did have buffering issues and I lost picture several times. Sometimes the picture came back other times the picture stayed frozen. It did pick up local channels and the picture was fantastic, however sometimes buffering was something to contend with. This a decent product but not for this user

Very sensitive antenna, in a good way
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried a couple of antennae from Mohu in the past, and this is the most sensitive thus far. I have the bar, and I had to struggle with the placement to make sure that channels were coming in clearly. With this antenna, I just tossed it on top of a bookcase near the window, and every channel comes in clearly. Only one channel gets fuzzy when the blinds are closed. I do live in an urban environment, so perhaps I'm closer to the signals than I would be elsewhere, but I have the antenna laid out flat 3 feet from a window without using the amplifier, and every channel comes in perfectly clearly. For a video that includes my thoughts, you can look here: https://youtu.be/m0w5nSQs_o4 Definitely a great antenna for cord-cutters!

Cord cutting done right
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently cut the cord from my cable provider (ya - the big one that nobody likes). I got a similar antenna for my main TV and this Leaf Supreme Pro is perfect for another TV in the house. The setup was a lot easier than I thought. I only had a problem with the channel finder feature but I suspect that was my TV and not the antenna. I live about 15 miles from downtown Minneapolis where all of the broadcast towers are located. The picture quality is crystal-clear. There was a major rainstorm that came through last weekend and I was surprised to not see any deterioration in the quality of the picture. This is a great device for anyone looking to join the party and cut your cable cord!

Works great easy setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When digital over the air first became mandatory I needed to mount an external antenna to get reception. I was excited to try this product as I am within the range in the specifications. I used the amplifier and with the first try I was getting great reception for all the channels available in my area. This has a thin profile and was easy to hookup and I was able to hide it behind a framed print. I highly recommend this product. Be sure to look up your zipcode at the FCC site https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

its ok
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live 18 miles from the transmission towers for my city. We have all the big channels plus WB etc. I have used several different HD antenna and the all work very similar. When I hooked this up, I was a little disappointed the only way to power this was the USB on my TV, which i use as a DVR drive for live TV now. I looked online and there were versions that were compatible with a 110 outlet. When I plugged it in I did a scan expecting to to pick up more channels to watch from my previous antenna. I was wrong. Some channels came in the same, some came in worse. My signal from my previous unpowered antenna went from 3-4 bars down to 2 or 3 depending on the channel. I attempted to contact customer service to ask for suggestions, they never responded. Pro: has a long cord flat and can be put in your blinds easy cons: only supplied power is USB fewer local channels than older unpowered antenna no customer service HD antenna are easy to find and everyone has them. A premium offering should have more than the $20 antenna I had bought from Best Buy a couple years ago. Could there be a problem physically with the antenna? yes, but I wont know since customer service never responded to an email asking for assistance. Buy something else.

It works but.........
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the signal meter. I got good channels about 50. My only hangup is the construction it seems very flimsy. Just be careful when handling it.

Alternative to cable? This isn't it.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a feeling we were in for a bad experience when we opened the box and discovered there were no instructions with the product. Now, I have to admit that intuitively we were able to figure it out so maybe that's just what was expected, but I would have preferred directions. The directions that did come with the antenna was all the ways to try to troubleshoot it not working. Now, these instructions we really needed because it didn't work. We followed all their suggestions of moving to multiple different locations, trying high and close to a window, away from metal...and the result was static and more static. I was hoping this might be a nice alternative to costly cable but instead it was just a waste of money. I'll stick to Hulu and my Roku for now.

Ready to cut the cord!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro Super easy to install just about anywhere. Great reception for over-the-air digital signals. Amplifier provided dozens of local channels. I really like the LED signal indicator that shows how strong the signals are based on the antenna placement. Makes it simple to position the antenna without the move-scan-move-scan process required of most antennas.

Great over the air antenna
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put this up in 5 minutes and was impressed how many HD channels I received over the air. It was just as clear as cable. I did install it outside in my lanai. I would think that indoors you will have trouble as the house keeps out the signal. I do wish it came with mounting hardware and different color options as white is to obvious.

I really wanted to like this product...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good news: 1. It appears to receive more channels than the previous indoor HD antennas I have tested. The bad news: 1. This antenna is NOT omni directional. 2. The packaging is HORRIBLE. The antenna will never lay flat on its own the way it is packaged. Not much else I can add. This antenna is good but not great. I live 8 miles away from the local TV towers. I can see the towers from my backyard. Yet I still struggle to receive all of the channels I should be able to. The Leaf Supreme might be the best indoor HD antenna I have tried but that does not make it perfect. It did not take long to realize the antenna is directional and whoever designed the packaging for this antenna was a goofball. It may never lay flat on it's own. Very good but not great. Conditional recommendation.
