Long range attic mount antenna
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After mounting the antenna in my attic, I found the reception fair. By adding the included amplifier, the signal strength increased re-markedly. Also the receiver quality in each TV or TabloTV varies dramatically. I live 50 miles from downtown Chicago, and with the TV stations on different towers (buildings) the reception for some became non existent. Also the new tall buildings erected in recent years between me and the transmitter made certain stations disappear. For an attic mounted antenna, I was surprisingly impressed. Comes with 30-feet of cable and a powered amplifier. I highly recommend using it. I need to look into a better splitter, but for now, I get free HD signals from Chicago and Milwaukee.

Actually Can "Cut the Cord."
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used a few antennas over the years in my efforts to "cut the cord" and none of them really worked that well. When I installed this antenna I was shocked at how well it worked. Prior to installing in my attic, I tested it on my main level TV. In the past, I received 5 HD channels and they were always choppy. With this antenna I receive over 30 HD and a ton of SD channels. The reception is great and it pulls channels from Baltimore, Annapolis, DC and northern Virginia. I can only imagine the reception, when I actually install it in my attic.

Easy setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never had heard of this brand of antenna before receiving this one. The antenna is larger than I thought it would be but it's very light weight. Hookup was easy and all I had to do was find a place to use it. I'm using it indoors but it can be used outside. I might try that someday if I want to purchase more coax. I don't watch much TV but there are quite a few channels to select from. The picture is clear and the sound is good. It's one of the better antennas I've ever had. For me I don't subscribe to cable so this is a welcome addition to my TV when j want to watch the news or some show.

Great outdoor antenna for cord cutters
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing outdoor antenna. I installed it right next to my window and it is picking up all the local channels in HD. I upgraded from a Artec antenna that I have been using for few years now. This is a very good replacement. The installation is so easy and simple. But you might need extra clamps or mounts if you are planning to put this one up on the attic or the roof. The included 30 ft cable is good enough to extend this from outdoor to the TV. You can power the amplifier using the USB port on TV or use the adapter. The reception is great and the channels do not scramble compared to my previous antenna. I live in the Suburbs and this one picks up all the channels from the city towers. This is definitely recommended for a cord cutter's. Overall, this is a great antenna for anyone looking to cut the cable and get free local channels.

No good for this area
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the second Mohu antenna that I tried after a complete failure of the first. I was going to buy a different brand but was persuaded by the sales associate to go with this one. I realize the location has a lot to do with the performance but was told that this product would work in my area.

Stinks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They told me this was the best antenna they had. I hung it the way it was supposed to be and after about an hr of pulling wire and hooking it up I got like 3 channels. All this to save some money on my cable bill. Worst 85$ I spent. I hope I can get my money back.

Poor manufacturing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The included u-bolt to fasten the antenna to the pole only had threads on one end. Due to poor manufacturing I can only give this 1 star. Thankfully I wasn’t on top of the ladder when realizing this.

Posted .Greetings! We apologize for any trouble you may be having with our Mohu Sail. Placing an antenna in the right location is key to getting better signals. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Also, make sure the antenna is as high up as possible and that you re-scan for channels every time it is moved. If you continue to have issues, please call our tech support team at 877-825-5572 or chat with us online at https://www.gomohu.com. We are available 7 days a week to help. We appreciate your business!

Yeah, no.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not much better than coat-hanger, really, though this would wrinkle my shirts, so coat-hanger wins overall comparison.

Sleek indoor/outdoor compact antenna
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mohu does it again with this antenna, they continue to pack the most amount of coverage into the most palatable of containers when it comes to the nasty necessity of cord cutting: the TV Antenna. This newest model: The Sail is no exception. This antenna is fully self-contained and comes with plenty of cables and mounting options. One minor omission that kept me from rating this at 5 stars was that among all the mounting options, included bars and different bases, there wasn't one that simply stood the antenna up, like on a shelf or some other flat surface. This makes the sail almost impossible just to try and even more difficult if you aren't going about the business of permanently mounting it right away. I like to tweak my antenna position and direction, etc, a bit to get the most optimum coverage, so this wasn't conducive to that. Those minor issues dealt with, this thing works awesome. I gained at least one bar on each channel (in my TV tuner) over my previous directional UHF Antenna. This is a smart choice for cord cutters and regular TV watchers alike.

Poor signal
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried using this antenna and you have to point it in the EXACT direction to even get a slight signal. I will stick with my other brand antenna.
