They sold m ed an open box for full price and when I asked if it needed power the geek squad guy said Oh no. Wrong it does need power. Then a little over a month they lowered the price now. The salesman told me it doesn't matter if you aim it wrong. It does need to be aimed somewhat it works pretty good overall haven't found anything better yet.

Fantastic over the air antenna

Picture and sound (which is not compress like from a cable company) are fantastic! Highly recommend this antenna especially if you live out in the country like I do b/c it has a USB power booster.

We're using it in combination with a Tablo DVR, and we're experiencing cord cutting at an entirely different level. We've been able to receive signals from about 60 different channels.

Amazed at how many channels we could get.

We looked at each other with our jaws dropped. We will install it in the attic. And yes, we are cutting the cord with the cable service immediately! Wow!!!

Good reception

I was not too sure about the HD antenna thing but wanted to give it a try. I hooked up the antenna to my TV, did a scan was surprised by the number of channels. This may vary by your location. And the antenna was just laying on my living room floor. Some of the channels I wouldn't watch. But the ones I am interested in are clear. I have not installed it outside yet but it can only be better.
