Monster hunter has a tried and true formula that engages players and allots for hours upon hours of gameplay. You really can’t go wrong with the ultimate version for the switch. If you’re a fan of monster hunter this game is a no brainer.

Did you like MHWorld but find it kinda easy? Do you enjoy games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but want something with more bang for your buck? Monster Hunter Generations. This is the game that makes Japanese players buy entire consoles.

I bought this game to play while waiting for Monster Hunter Rise and I can guarantee that it is an amazing experience. If you’re on the fence about this one or Rise just get both!

Great game, had it on 3ds and had to get it for switch

Great monster hunter game, after playing Monster Hunter Rise this game does feel a little bit slower paced but its still really enjoyable and challenging! Also I can't argue for the price that I got it at!

Unlike Monster Hunter World, this game goes back to the usual gameplay of the rest of the series. It can be very overwhelming for newcomers because there’s just so much to read and learn, but once you can hop into a game with friends, it’s fun.

I already sank hundreds of hours into this game. Playing the original generations on 3DS was fun, but at a better resolution and having a second thumbstick makes it a lot more tolerable. Definitely a must get.

Challenging, realistic, rewarding. Those are the 3 words I would use to describe this game. Be sure to watch some tutorials online before diving in! And don’t play this like your standard button-masher.

This is if anything a definitive collection of nearly all the content from the 3ds games over the passed years but in HD. There are some muddy textures for sure but the over all package is pretty good. Not as refined as monster hunter world, but certainly more colorful and has more and better looking equipment.

If you like taking out tough and merciless monsters, this is def the game for ya. Plenty of gear to you keeping grinding for hours and hours.

The game will probably not get played. Just bought it because it was $10 and adding it to my MH Collection.

This game is for a particular crowd that does not mind grinding in a game with little to no story line. You'll most likely end up putting hundreds of hours into the game if you end up enjoying it.

So if you think it sounds fun to grab a big weapon, fight a big monster, make bigger weapons from its parts so you can fight bigger monsters, then this is the game for you.

Best Buy once again laced me with 1 million hours of content for the lowest price around. Pickup was a little hectic, but we all worked it out. Great game, great shopping experience.

If it's anything like the 3ds game with higher textures it is probably just as good. i honestly prefer monster hunter world. The linear gameplay in this is the main downside to this game but other than that it is a good game.

Had heard wonderful things about monster hunter on 3ds. picked up monster hunter world on ps4, looking forward to getting into this on switch. Got it at a great price at best buy!
