I purchased this game for my husband. He really enjoys it, and plays it almost everyday. He has put several hours into it, and he said it's one of his favorite games. You can play alone, or online with friends. Highly recommended!

A long time monster hunter fan here. this game is great! improved to attract new players while not slowing down the action for those who know how it works. definitely get this!

This was my first monster hunter game and I went into it with two other friends, so far it's been awesome looks awesome on my ps4 pro on the graphics setting, tho I switched it to fps mode since it gets pretty crazy during combat.

I highly recommend this game if you are on the fence - it's been a delightful grindy experience that you can play with friends online. Runs great, and I'm loving all the gear.

Though I'm new to the series, I'm so far very impressed, difficult learning-curve, aside. The graphics are stunning and the level design, layout and game-play mechanics near flawlessly executed. As I said before, the learning curve is extremely daunting, perhaps the most difficult I've yet encountered, and I say this as a Fallout 4, Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Death Stranding veteran, so I'm not exactly new to complicated game mechanics or multi-faceted inventory management. Be that as it may, at the current $20.00 price-tag, you can hardly go wrong with Monster Hunter World, provided you have the time and patience to push through the learning curve.

I'm used to Monster Hunter on my 3DS, but this takes it to the big screen and moving between areas feels seamless, really a nice, big open world. Takes a little to get up to speed as is very involved, but that is not a bad thing.

Many friends told me how awesome this game was after playing it and never being Monster hunter fans. I feel the same and it’s just beautiful and the fights are fun and monsters have an awesome design and feel to them!

First time playing this series and must say it’s awesome, very in depth rpg, amazing graphics and combat..a visual treat and great game

I've been playing Monster Hunter games for years now and this is probably my favorite. Got it on sale and am thrilled with my purchase!! If you are a fan of Monster Hunter OR just looking for a great game, give it a try!!

Then I tipped over. Keep in mind I play single player and I’m still having fun. Something about beating the crap of a huge monster is satisfying. Need to get a team going for the updates that are sure to be coming out soon.

Played this for literally 100 hours total with a friend. The game gets regular updates and special events and is always fun. Not suited for casual playing unfortunately, but for hardcore gamers this is super fun.

I have played a little bit of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Monster Hunter Generations. While I enjoyed both of them, the various upgrades to gameplay, graphics, and multiplayer make this much more fun and addictive for me.

If you're looking for a change of pace from looter-shooters this might be the game for you. Great graphics and mechanics added with the ability to party up and play with friends makes MHW a great game to play with friends or attempt to go solo on those longer expeditions.

This game is great! Capcom really outdid themselves this time. It has tons of stuff to do, such as upgrading armors and weapons. Combat system is a little tricky to pull off, especially for new comers so practice, practice, and practice! New comers, this isn’t your typical RPG. You control a hunter who hunts monster so you need think like a hunter going into fields. You can hunt alone, with friends or random player(s). Capcom constantly added more monsters to hunt, including summon monsters from Final Fantasy series, in collaboration with Squarenix. And they are still not done yet with the game. An expansion is coming later this year. You won’t be disappointed with this game, veterans of the franchise or not. Good hunting!

Monster Hunter World is an amazing game. I actually decided to purchase a PS4 Pro to play this game and have no regrets. There is tons to do in this game and it can easily take you into hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Love the game. Bought it as a Xbox one game originally, but no longer have the system. Just realized that it was on PS4 and have been enjoying it as much as I did when I first played.

I really wasn't sure about this game after playing the beta. It was disappointing.. had a cpl friends said get it. Gotta say I'm glad I did so much to do game play is smooth once ya get used to it.. it's alot of fun..

It's great to finally have a Monster Hunter game on PS4 instead of playing it only on PSP and/or Nintendo. Since I don't own either systems, it's nice that this game is in a system that I can enjoy anytime.

Has a very JRPG-like feel in character design and gear implementation, but enjoyable once you can get past the lack of any real story. It is all about planning your next big monster kill.

Don't worry if you never played a Monster Hunter game before. This is probably the easiest to get into, because of the streamlined gameplay. That doesn't mean the game's easy, just easier to understand.
