And it's been great. I was going to wait for PC but picked it up anyways. Considering how easy it is to play by yourself or join an SOS, it's been a great first venture into that world.

I have always wanted to get into this serious but I hate playing on handhelds. This game looks amazing and plays well. Story is a bit lacking but I just want to hunt monsters!

I've sunk over 200 hours into it and almost every moment has been tremendous! I haven't fallen so deep into such a rabbit hole since World of Warcraft.... and it'll only get worse...

The latest release in the Monster Hunter catalog and a beautiful one at that. The multiplayer aspect leaves little to be desired in my opinion but once you link up, it's a lot of fun.

Bought a copy of this for me and my brother, this is both of our first time playing a MH game. Overall I'm enjoying it, the only negative I have is that they didn't implement the online/party system very well in my opinion; people in your lobby don't show up in your hub and you can't team up on main story missions unless all people involved have seen the cutscenes. Makes playing with my brother difficult as he's not that interested in doing non-main story missions and this restriction has killed his interest in playing the game. Fighting monsters is fun, crafting armor/weapons keeps me interested in hunting, wish the online system was better.

This game has improved on all aspects of the previous Monster Hunter games and it shows with how much it has sold. Finally, Monster Hunter is popular in the West! Deservedly so.

The introduction of this game really down play the complexity of the game's mechanics, however, by the time any important missions are underway or you're messing around with the awesome multiplayer, its easy to figure out everything!

I've been a fan of monster Hunter since my best friend introduced me to try and will always be one. That being said this game is amazing I hope they add new monsters soon though...

The Monster Hunter series has not been for everyone, but the quality of life changes, the great performance and just being able to use a controller makes this a perfect entry point for those not familiar to the series, like myself.

This game is everything we've been waiting for. As a long time monster Hunter player, MHW has completely built on everything we've loved. Great for Veteran and begginer players.

Lots of fun and content in this one. If you love deliberate combat, grinding for gear and stuff, definitely recommended. Easy for single and multiplayer experience too!

This game is incredible. Hunting big monsters with other players to craft unique armor is the most fun grind I've ever had. Really addicting and will give you your money's worth.

The story and gameplay is amazing. Few games are a match or better visually. Playing with 4k enabled the visuals are crisper. Gameplay is intuitive and rather easy to learn.

I’ve never played a single game from this series, yet still had a great time and truly enjoyed playing a game of a separate genre than typical Ffighting or FPS games.

Monster hunter has always been fun with many clones created to imitate it. Making the leap to PS4 is revolutionary for the franchise and it is super fun to play with friends.

this is such a great and addicting game. its a type of game you need to grind for materials and make armors/weapons. fun to play with others. up to 4 players in one hunting.

If you get any game this year on your PS4 this is it, finally we got a modern looking monster hunter and playing monster hunter a must for any fans and a treat for anyone new

Huge fan of Monster Hunter on 3DS. PS4 version looks and plays great and is a ton of fun playing with friends. I like all the little crossovers they do in updates.
