Monster Hunter World is the very definition of a "time-sink." Clear your schedule, make sure you aren't playing ANY other games, and go to work. Seriously, Capcom outdid themselves with this one.

Such a great game for newcomers and veterans of the series alike, the amount of monsters and things you can create is astounding and packs so much fun into it.

Pre ordered for my Son. He has put in hours building up his character and fighting/ hunting monsters. Nice to see this game on the regular systems instead of the handhelds.

I had never played any of the MH games in the past and decided to give this one a go. Pretty cool game and the graphics are awesome. My son really enjoys it as some of the monsters are dinosaur-like. Worth the $24z

MHW is an easy game to get into. The level up system doesnt kick in until you beat the game for your Hunter Rank. You'll gain rank as you complete quests up until rank 14 which is fast. Your equipment makes you the better playe and as you get into high rank you'll start tailoring gear towards specific monsters. Farming aint bad at all as most crafting materials you acquire will most likely be plentiful by them time you reach the end of the tree except for hero soulstones. Which are more rare and randomly generated. Overall the game mechanics and play are great and simple. Great game for every gamer to get into.

It is a gradual build up and since I have gotten better with choosing the appropriate weapon it has gotten smoother. So far it's an entertaining but time consuming game.

Got this for my GF and now it looks like I gotta get a copy because how fun this looks! Graphics and gameplay look amazing!

Monster Hunter World is a sprawling adventure that will take many hours to complete. The combat is solid and while the mission structure can be a let down, Monster Hunter World is a great addition to the MH universe.

First time ever playing a Monster Hunter game, and I’ve gotta say, it’s super fun! Huge world, huge monsters to hunt, and even better, you get to do them with friends!

Hunt monster, upgrade and improve equipment, hunt more monsters. Rinse and repeat. Only downside is not a great game for someone that doesn't enjoy grinding at a game.

As a Monster Hunter noobie I can say with confidence that this is one of the best games I've ever played this generation. Monster Hunter World looks beautiful, runs great, and the enemy designs are fascinating.

If you've played a monster hunter game before, it's mostly what you would expect aside from a few big changes. It's much more streamlined than the past games but still retains all the deep mechanics that makes a monster hunter game. If you haven't played a monster hunter game before, than this is definitely the best time to jump in. There is definitely a learning curve to this game and you will take a bit to learn the ins and outs but once you do, it's an amazingly fun time, especially with a group of friends. Put the time in to learning the game, and it will be one of the best times you've had.

This is a great game. Spent lots of time on this solo and with friends. If you like to play games like bloodbourne but want a less punishing game, this game is for you. Fighting epic bosses is pretty fun.

I loved this game, played about 60 hours to get to the end. There's DLC but i didn't find it compelling. Still 60 hours? And already price is down? Easy choice.

I've never played Monster Hunter before this game, but I can say that I was very impressed. It was very difficult, but I had a friend that plays all the Monster Hunter games that helped me through it.
