This game is just a blast to play. It's very much a rinse and repeat kind of game which might scare some people away. Main point is kill or capture crazy awesome monster, make armor or weapons out of parts from said monster, and then finally go kill or capture a tougher monster. Kill, make, repeat. The world they have created is just beautiful and fun to explore the different type of regions they've made. I truly love playing this game. If you like good boss fights this is a great game for you. It's basically one boss fight after another and it's pretty dang fun.

I purchased this game for my nephew based on all of the reviews and recommendations by friends. He really enjoys the game and it is quite fun. He enjoys the open world and hunting monsters.

This game is... incredible. There is so much game here without any added micro transactions. I am about 100 hours in and I cant wait for my second 100.

Gift for my son. He enjoys the game, too confusing for mother’s, but has nice graphics and good for teenagers.

Best played with friends, there is nothing that comes close to the intensity of fighting giant dinosaurs with 3 other friends. exhilarating!

Monster Hunter World is by far the best game I've bought for a very long time. It is incredibly deep, addictive, and challenging. Highly recommended!

I had played the 3ds Monster hunter games, and this one blows them out of the water. It looks beautiful and feel very fluid. Definitively a must buy

MHW is a fantastic entry for newcomers...or for anyone! More user friendly than previous installments. The game looks gorgeous and plays wonderfully.

This year’s GOTY winner imo. Game’s not as punishable compared to the previous games. So it’s perfect/easier for beginners to get in to the series.

I found the recipe and crafting system pretty fun as goals to work towards. And the open gameplay was so much of what I wanted in a game like this.

I've been waiting for a MH like this since I played the Freedom United ages ago on PSP. Any fan of the franchise should play this masterpiece. 5/5

This is one of those games you just keep playing. The only thing that's gonna tear me away is god of war. The question is, which will be the GOTY?

MHW revamps the Monster Hunter series with many quality of life and mechanic changes, most of which are welcome from a series veteran. For example, you no longer have to use paintballs to track monsters. However, there is a severe lack of monster variety and weapon choices once you reach endgame compared to previous entries. Endgame consists of hunting tempered elder dragons repeatedy. Playing until you finish the HR49 will take at least 100 hours (which is where you may want to stop). Still great value for the amount of time you'll spend on the game.

I haven't played any of the previous Monster Hunter games but this was easy enough to learn quickly. Graphics are great and gameplay is really fun.

I've tried numerous time before to play these games, but this is the first one that doesn't feel like an impenetrable rock to get into. UI is still a mess, but fighting monsters is a ton of fun.

It has been a really fun ride with this game. Once you hit the second act though you see how much of an endless cycle of mmo style grinding it is. If that’s your thing then you will have a blast.

Great game lots of hours I put into this one. Now the Witcher 3 crossover event has began so I’ll be diving back in. Only negative after like a 100 hours startingto feel Repetitive.

This game is a must have for PS4 owners. You will never run out of things to do and they still continue to add content free of charge.
