Deep, but Slow and Grindy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As the most recent entry to the venerable Monster Hunter franchise, the basic gameplay loop is pretty much set in stone: select an area, find a monster, hit it in the knees for ten to twenty minutes, repeat. There's a huge pile of new QoL improvements (infinite whetstones, free equipment for missions, seamless open-world-esque areas with multiple monsters and no loading screens) but it's still MonHun at heart. If you feel you'd enjoy a series of slow boss-fights for hundreds of hours, then MHW has you covered.

Great introduction to Monster Hunter
