Good game, but depends on play style

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wife and picked this up thinking it was going to be the new go to Co-op long term game, but for us it was not what were expecting as a long term game. the mechanics are weird and take time to get use to, and it's hard to determine when you have actually gotten somewhere with killing the monsters. I not rating this low, because in the right hands this game is a good game, just not our cup of tea.

A must have for MH fans and great for newbies

If you are new to the series, this is probably the best one to start with as well. It has come a long way to be more friendly to the newbies. I have to note that I was disappointed that my pre-order didn't come with the code or steel book case. I have heard it may still happen, so here's hoping!
