This is a great game for someone who has never played a Monster Hunter game. It does a great job of introducing all of the mechanics and is much more forgiving than previous entries in the series. A great game for those new to the series and veterans alike.

Fun RPG. 3rd person view. Plenty of room to explore/kill time. If you're a player helping a friend level up, keep in mind they have to have completed going through cut scenes in order to you have already gone through in order to have you play with them.

This is my first foray into the world of Monster Hunter (aside from playing a tiny bit on a friend 's portable), and now I see what all of the fuss is about. Exploring the fantastic fantasy worlds, alone or with a friend, is a blast. Highly recommend.

Monster Hunter has gone Main Stream! The act of hunting is fun and playing with friends makes it even better. Be warned, learning all of the controls and different systems within the game needed to be truly great at this game is very time consuming. I'd only play if you're willing to put in the time.

This game is a solid addition to the series and a great introduction to newcomers of Monster Hunter. Plenty of quality of life upgrades over the past games and taking advantage of the much more powerful hardware than the Nintendo systems

This is a game you can sink hundreds of hours into.If you enjoy fighting giant monsters and crafting gear and weapons from their parts look no further than monster hunter world. Game also has free updates planned for the remainder of the year.

I love this game. Seems like there is a lot to do plus Capcom releases events throughout the year with special items/gear you can collect. the online is very addicting since you can have friends or randoms help you hunt monsters.

This is the Monster Hunter game fans have been waiting for! It cranks the scale up a few notches while also streamlining many features to make the game much more accessible and enjoyable to play. My game of the year for 2018!

This game has fixed so many issues with previous Monster hunter games... Infinite whetstones.. no longer needing paintballs.. So many quality of life updates made this game amazing. This is a MUST buy if you like Monster Hunter.

One of the few games you can still play solo without an online connection, although online play is a feature as well. Great story, with awesome In- game mechanics. If you love RPG type games, this is a must!

Regular MH games always felt "clunky" to me but this was SMOOTH. Everything just feels better to play with. It is very beginner friendly since it simllified a couple things, but the core game is very much there.

Finally Monster Hunter comes back to the Playstation family...and Xbox too. It's fun, it's addictive and we've been missing out. Collect, craft, kill giant monsters. Seriously what else do you want? A story? Well... Buy it.

Monster Hunter is back on home consoles and it is better than ever. Virtually every aspect of the game has been streamlined and improved and it is the most friendly jumping on point for someone new to the series in its history.

Honestly the best monster Hunter ever made. I've played almost every monster hunter but this is the best it's so simplistic especially the crafting system. If you've never played a monster hunter game this is an amazing start.

Monster Hunter: World takes the Monster Hunter series to new levels of fun. This is a more streamlined version for newcomers, but still maintains the same complexity many fans will love.

My friend had been waiting a while for this game to come out, I Purchased it for him with my Best Buy gamers club 20% off to save him a few bucks. He played this for months, and still does.
