for me the game feels over whelming because its a constant grind to do anything in this game

This game is so slow. The into takes over an hour to watch cut scenes and get through tutorial, and monsters can take over an hour to kill. Characters attack and move slowly, and you pretty much do the same objects over and over. The game isn't open world like we were led to believe. You need to have a lot of patience and time to play this.

I was looking forward to this game, but it didn’t hold my interest.

I gave this game a fair shake; played over 20 hours. I can't stand it. There's so much craziness with inventory and items and quests that the whole thing seems like a trite game from Japan.

This is an awful game once you start playing. It is like street fighter graphics meets jurassic park... I played it twice and wished I could return.

Do not like this at all. I felt like the game belongs to the '90s the graphics are very shady.

I personally did not like this game. Moves too slow and has too many menu options.

I had tried monster hunter before and it never got me engaged. This changed it for me and so many other people. There is a reason why this was a global phenomenon, you have to experience it.

I've played quite a few of the monster hunter games. From the PSP MH, to MH3, 4 and gen. I can honestly say that this is not only the best of those, but the most fun. I was playing Breath of the Wild right up until launch of the game, and was not let down in any way following it. I love the grind and the reward from it. Each monster is not only really awesome looking, but their move set is mostly vastly different from each other, and even when you've killed the same monster multiple times (looking at you, Legiana plate) it can still prove a challenge. Love this game and will be playing it for many hours to come.

This my first time playing a Monster Hunter game. I heard it has a difficult learning curve, but in this case it wasn’t that difficult. One of the best online multiplayer games.
