This game is amazing! Pre-ordered and picked up upon release, I've wanted to spend every second since playing this game! Have not played any other Monster Hunter except for one on DS very briefly, and I must say it is a little tricky learning this game as it doesn't tell you much, but as you continue on everything will start to click and fall into place and you'll be having a great time!

This is a great & must have in your ps4 collection. I’ve played the older versions of monster hunter on ps3 and psp and this will blow your mind away. The combat system is much improved and with the online multi player function, the game goes on forever. You could spend hours on this game without realizing it. Hunter monsters is also easier with clues leading to the kill

This game is great! The grind has been made a little more user friendly. Good for casual play and hardcore fans. Love the monster hunter series! Only thing i wish for now is that it was available for portable play like it was for Nintendo so I can grind on the go! The graphics are phenomenal and the monsters are fun to slay! Online play makes grouping up a lot of fun also!

Great multi player game monsters are a little hard until you get use to it

This was a really good game that gets really hard if you don't have help. I would recommend to any gamer.

I tried to play a couple of the past Monster Hunter games, such as the one that came for the PSP. I tried to like them but they were overcomplicated, didn't make much sense for a newbie and kind of boring. When I heard about all the good things people were saying about Monster Hunter World, I got very excited. And am happy to say the hype is real and the game is AWESOME!!!

Monster Hunter World streamlines many of the more grindy aspects of the series and makes it more accessible to newcomers. The game is basically one huge boss rush that expects the player to adapt to certain situation quickly or else they will get carted to death. Once you understand the flow of the game, taking down these giant beasts should be breeze.

Excellent game, I’ve been waiting years for a monster hunter game to come out on a non-Nintendo console and I was not disappointed. This game even rekindled my love for gaming not since my days playing WoW have I been able to sit and play for long sessions at a time without getting the least bit bored. Be it solo or with friends I highly recommend this game to anyone!

MHW is an admirable game. There are a TON of options for customizing yor character and companion character, so that is a plus. There is also a fairly elaborate cooperative online play, so another plus. However, when it comes to ingame character interaction, there is not enough spoken words. Further, the words that are audible differ from what is on screen. Last frustration is that the controls are limited in combat, it could really use more diversity there.

I'm happy Monster Hunter finally made it to Xbox/PS4 and later this year to the PC. I absolutely loved the game on Nintendo DS, but I didn't feel like I had complete control with the awkward C-Stick. The game offers countless hours of play. Great game to play with a group of friends as well as alone. I'm already 15 hours in and feel like I just scratched the surface.

Being new to Monster Hunter, I thought I would give this game a chance. I am hooked! The game looks beautiful and has so much to do. Nothing better then getting into 30 minute epic battles with friends.

Very fun game, I had a lot of fun playing it with friends and even then when I was playing by myself I still had tons of fun, hunting farming, Killing new monster species. It was all great I do highly recommend it to anyone who is into these types of games.

The game is a lot of fun for those who enjoy the core gameplay loop of hunting monsters to craft better gear. The experience is solid on PS4 and im glad I got it on sale. My only regret is that the PC version was double the price and, at the time, reported to be buggy. The game would be worlds better at a higher framerate with shorter load times.

I wasn't sure at first if I was getting this game. I broke down and bought it and I'm very glad I did. It's super fun solo as well as with friends. I was afraid it would be too hard as a solo game but it's not. if you like collecting ever flower, berry, stone, pelt, ore you can find to make the sweetest weapons and armor in Astera than this is the game for you!

Tons of content and great graphics. Glad I gave it a shot.

If you’ve been a fan of Monster Hunter especially PS2 days, you will really enjoy this anticipated game. Monster Hunter is visually appealing, the motions are very fluid and the gameplay is phenomenal ! I love playing online with my family and friends, would recommended picking up this game. Also the steel book with preorders was very nice !!

While this doesn't change up the formula of what Monster Hunter is or has been, there are so many quality of life changes that make getting into Monster Hunter the easiest it has ever been. If you've ever had any interest in the Monster Hunter games/genre, this is the one to try.

This game is truly amazing and this is the direction that future MH titles need to take. This game is about hunting monsters so that you can craft gear from monsters slain. You can go on quest with friends to take on monsters and work as a team. The controls are very smooth and playing with each weapon feels unique. This game is truly fun.
