This is a good monster hunter game but it is unlike other tradiational RPG or action adventure games. In my opinion it is kinda slow and there are aspects of the game that I don't like such as the returing to base after each hunt. Overall good game but look up videos of the game before you purchase.

This is one of those games that seems to offer endless replay. Very deep game with a very deep set of choices. It’s almost like you’re creating a new world every time you play it. Not boring nor too redundant. It will definitely keep your attention with the visuals too. Lots of replay.

I'm not sure how I've managed to avoid RPG video games since the NES, but this is my second RPG in a year (Breath of the Wild being the first) and I have absolutely loved both. This is definitely a 100+ hour game and I've barely scratched the surface. I can't wait to see what's next.

I’ve read good things about this game, so my expectations were fairly high. However, it’s been a rough start as it seemingly takes forever to get into any actual gameplay due to character setup and the intro sequences - which is where this game falls apart. The story is lacking and the voiceover acting is subpar at best. The video sequence animation isn’t great but the visuals in the actual gameplay seem pretty good; which is why I gave it at least three stars. Game mechanics though, from what I’ve been able to play thus far, are a little clunky. I’ll try to keep going with it and will update my review if I get any more out of it. But with the lengthy and uninteresting video sequences I just don’t see that happening...

This is a good game but it’s a very slow starting game. I couldn’t get any of my gamer buddies to get it so I don’t think I have the patience to learn this game alone. If I had more time dedicated to games I’m sure I’d love the game. I’ve played for about 2 hours total.

I had never played any of the Monster Hunter games before and have been pleasantly surprised by how good this game is. Expansive world with lots of creatures. The RPG elements can be overwhelming but it gets easier after playing for a while. Really recommended.
