Combat is dragged down by the multitude of options yet only ever getting to play one a time. Everything from combat to inventory is just overwhelming.

This game has a lot going on. I should’ve done more research prior to purchasing. If you are a casual gamer, probably not for you.

In order to play, you have to read a lot of tutorial instructions on the screen. Straining your eye and lots of distractions.

I thought this was going to be an open world game play, nope!! Even worse everything was timed. Yuckkkk I sold it. Bye bye!!!

Great Monster Hunter game. It does have a bit of a learning curve and the missions start out fairly easy, but there is plenty of quests and various things to be done to occupy a lot of hours without getting boring. The game has the nice signature difficulty increases as you progress and the weapons and moves have worked smoothly thus far. The graphics look amazing compared to earlier nintendo DS games. Framerate can be a bit choppy even on the Xbox one X with the "prioritize framerate" setting, but there is a lot of information to display and its smooth enough to be nice to play and in smaller areas the framerate is great. No load times between zones is a great feature. I can't wait to continue playing. Bestbuy sent me my preorder codes for the armor set and charm within an hour of picking up the game. They also had the steelbook case, though they initially thought they were out of stock so I am not surprised they ran out. Bottom line: Great game of hunting monsters and grinding armor sets. Just get it, you won't be disappointed.

Very bad quality and bad emaging don’t worth your money

Been playing off and on with friends since Friday and it definitely makes the experience better in my opinion. Co-op is a bit difficult to set up if you haven't done it before, and a word from the wise: Not every mission can be played co-op (at least from the start). Doing lots of expeditions, investigations, and bounties will get you points, money, and parts to keep on top of things. Between multiplayer setup confusion and the fact I haven't yet received my pre-order bonus makes me give the game a 4* rating, but definitely worth playing.

to difficult to understand not at all enjoyable not good

This is fun even as a solo player. Easy to get into coop matches or to just play solo. highly recommend and this was my first time in the monster hunter world. Enjoy all the different weapon types and monsters. Get it and have a blast!

From someone that has played Monster Hunter before: this game delivers. It goes straight to the action rather than giving you 100 fetching quests like previous games. Its still MH, but bigger, a bit more accessible and HUGE! You travel between areas without loading each time from one to another. Areas are big and diverse, monsters are massive. It helps if youve played MH before, youll jump right into the action.

I believe that this game should be awarded "Game of the year". When it is played on our Xbox X, the monsters are life like! It's a bit hard to locate monsters to go after, but when you find one- it's game on! Some will run, and others will stand their ground! Buy it, it's worth the money! Destroy monster, and save the new world!

I really like this game because of the whole loot concept. Being able to craft items from the monsters you kill. That you can specifically target creatures you need to create your armor or weapon.

This game is awesome. It is my first monster hunter game, and It was not hard to learn all of the mechanics of the game. I highly recommend this to everyone!

This is looking to be a great game, but wheres the collectors edition. I havent seen it in bestbuy yet, would have purchased both xbox an ps4 c.e.
