For a computer/printer desk this is just the right size for all of the transformers and plugs. Good design.

Great Surge protector for the price. So far it is working great!

I like the look of the Monster platinum series surge protector. It was pricey at $79.95, but I figured that will be worth the price in order to protect expensive electronics. The down side is the odor of this product. As soon as I opened the package, there was a strong chemical smell. Maybe it's the type of plastic used or an internal component. I purchased the surge protector for my computer and placed it nearby. I am hoping the smell will go away as it is unpleasant. I have bought Monster products in the past, including a surge protector, that did not have this odor. Disappointed.

I bought this product to protect my pc equipment I wish I bought the other one with more inputs.

There's no reason to pay a arm and a leg for a surge protector. This one was reasonably priced and offers green energy

This item had a TV, Receiver, cable box hooked up to the surge protector. I'm wondering if they will honor the warranty that they BOLDLY(Warranty for like $250,000) put on their packaging to sell an over-priced. I will update if they remedy this issue.(8-1-2018) Otherwise, save your money and buy just a regular surge protector. My last Monster Power strip lasted for over 10 yrs with no issues. That item was heavy(Made better). This newest one is light, made of plastic and has lasted less than 2 yrs and fried my receiver. I hope to have resolution soon. Before then, I would go with a more reasonable priced surge protector or just go no surge protector and get best buy's extended warranty for about the same price and not have to deal with Monster and their warranty.

I purchased model # MP PLAT 600 HT on 3/17/17 from Best Buy. On 9/11/18 the surge protector was no longer providing the protection it was meant to provide. I called MONSTER cable, However; I never got a live person and the recording stated they were closed for the day, though I called more than 10 times a day ever since, and still I am unable to speak to anyone. I did receive an e-mail with a claim number with instructions to mail the unit to them in San Francisco, Ca. Which I did on 9/15. I am waiting and hoping Monster would at least acknowledge my claim. I have a BAD feeling about this.
