There really is no cost to peace of mind. Although I'm pretty tech savvy and I treat all my electronics with respect and the notion to keep them for as long as I can the insurance plan is you know just to help solidify that notion.

I have three kids at home, that like to get into things they shouldn't. With this, I know that if something were to happen, it is protected.

i was a bit shy about purchasing the Monthly Best Buy Protection (up to 24 mo.) but after taking my Laptop to the Geek Squad there to have it worked on it paid for the whole price with just the first visit. And it is good for 2 years. i highly recommend this plan..ive never been someone to buy extended warranties but after realizing all of the things i have purchased at Best Buy over the past 4-6 months, they are all covered with this plan and returns are good for 60 days opposed to 15 days on most items you buy there.. You can not go wrong with the Best Buy protection 24 month plan..it is definitely worth every dollar..

Haven't used this service yet and hope I never have to, but having it gives me peace of mind about my expensive purchase.

I find it extremely hard to find a reason NOT to buy the protection plan on any Best Buy products anyone would purchase besides running on a tighter budget. In the case of any accidents or mishaps, you are almost ALWAYS covered, and you are eligible to get a FULL replacement on the product, which nearly always covers the cost of the protection plan. Otherwise, they'll simply and easily, I might add, fix the product as good as new.

Yearly Membership option was a great addition to provide peace of mind as I acclimate to the new product and longevity of it.

Hope i dont need it, Better to have it thsn not as this is a higher end piece of equipment. Instant email on terms, contract.
