There really is no cost to peace of mind. Although I'm pretty tech savvy and I treat all my electronics with respect and the notion to keep them for as long as I can the insurance plan is you know just to help solidify that notion.

Awful computer. We bought two of these and they’ve had different issues. Mine took HOURS to update the day after I initially set it up. I have had power issues telling me that the power cord that came in the box is not a sufficient battery source. WiFi has issues and I’ll have to restart my computer for it to work, when there’s nothing at all wrong with our high speed internet. My husbands laptop needs to be updated constantly (we’ve had them a week or so), and his is really slow. We will be returning these and purchasing something else, not Dell.

The AI assisted Customer service is horrible, possibly the worst i have ever experienced. Geek Squad called me to get additional information however it was nearly impossible to get through to my local store to return the call due to the AI assistance.

The Geeks really were very impressive. They knew what they were doing. They were fabulous. A d they had my entire trust!

i have used Best Buy protection plan for several electronic devices and it is so very easy! No questions asked, just repair or replacement. I am a Best Buy plus member, so I do not pay extra which makes this protection plan the best out there for me. It is nice being able to work with a local store for repairs.

This saved my keyboard numerous times, not only from liquid spills, but crumbs! I thoughts toddlers were messy... and then i watched my fat self, devour a jug of whole milk and chocolate chips cookies... even santa was ashamed at me. thankfully this keyboard cover saved me!
